What You'll Bring:

The Product Marketing team is tasked with driving adoption of TransUnion's global solutions by using strong, scalable go-to-market tactics that solidify our position as thought leader, innovator, and trusted partner. Sitting at the intersection of product management, marketing, training and sales, our Product Marketing team is highly collaborative, both cross-functionally and within our own team. What you'll bring to our team:

  • 10+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably at a data provider, DSP, DMP, data aggregator or related online advertising enabling product or service provider

  • Extensive experience in developing and executing successful go-to-market programs for impactful product launches, including managing productivity out of large cross-functional teams

  • Demonstrated history of leading innovative positioning and enablement initiatives to drive significant revenue growth

  • Passion to track emerging trends, competitive approaches and use cases to communicate effective and relevant value propositions

  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills with ability to communicate across all levels of an organization

  • Self-motivated and able to work in an organized way in an extremely fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

  • Strong project management, attention to detail and bias towards execution

  • Exceptional content writing skills both for print and web

  • Experience with agile environments and a "get-it-done" attitude

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% (primarily US-based)

As TransUnion evolves and expands offerings for the digital marketing and media industries, the Director, Product Marketing role supports the expansion and growth of the Marketing Solutions business through the development of go-to-market strategies, product positioning, competitive analysis, marketing collateral, sales tools, and content to thought leadership campaigns. Your impact to the success of the team will include the following:

  • Act as a primary consultant on all marketing solutions product marketing matters

  • Manage cross-functional execution and oversight of go-to-market programs, establishing the go-to-market strategy across multiple vertical markets

  • Perform market research and competitive analysis for the product positioning and to drive sales enablement

  • Evaluate and prioritize vertical segments for focused marketing efforts, and develop value propositions and product messaging for go-to-market activities

  • Develop successful go-to-market programs to ensure organizational readiness to sell and achieve product revenue objectives, with an emphasis in sales engagement tool and strategy development (in collaboration with Sales Operations / Enablement teams)

  • Create tailored content for presentations, sales training, product sheets, case studies, demonstrations and blogs

  • Share expertise and best practices for marketing communications, plans, promotional materials and strategies to meet product revenue objectives

  • Track key performance indicators to monitor and enhance product marketing effectiveness

Main Responsibilities: * Possess aptitude for making strategic connections between broad-based trends and for adapting company technologies, capabilities and product solutions to address customer needs and drive sales. * Act as the voice of the consumer and customer. * Work collaboratively with cross functional partners, particularly with R&D, Marketing and Commercial teams to identify and respond to market gaps, consumer and customer needs. * Create meaningful and differentiated value propositions to drive stakeholder engagement and value and providing Category & Customer Experience marketers with relevant positioning approaches * Provide sales support through timely communication, targeted presentation content to strategic customers and purposeful product demonstrations for superior product and customer experiences. * Act as a leader with vision and product category expert by developing deep knowledge of product technical features and benefits, as well as portfolio lifecycle and the ability to recommend new strategies to grow revenues overtime. * In tune with key customer and brand strategies across different category segment applications in order to provide assertive product recommendations to best suit customer opportunity spaces. * Develop and maintain subject matter expertise including comprehensive knowledge of competitive landscape to make business building portfolio architecture design recommendations. Spearhead commercialization process with cross-functional team members from idea to market, acting as the inspiring leader behind product launch and go-to-market strategy and plan execution. * Support strategic planning development process and implementation of action plans. * Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional team, provide project management excellence and build constructive collaborative work environment to drive shared goals and incremental growth. * Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on tactical and practical execution results. * Demonstrate ability to interact, partner with and influence stakeholders at all levels, providing well-grounded direction, recommendations and delivering on marketing executional excellence.
