The Product team at Squarespace is looking for a Director of Product to lead the development of marketing tools that help our customers find, engage, convert and retain their customers.

You will manage a team of PMs focused on building different aspects of our marketing tools, including Email Campaigns, Analytics, and Distribution tools (SEO, Social, etc), and will work with them to take our marketing suite to a new level. You'll oversee product strategy, goal setting, product reviews, career development, team culture, and group operations to ensure we build engaged teams that ship great products.

You are data-driven and motivated by business impact. You have experience leading product teams that drives product adoption and paid user growth. You are excited by questions that do not have obvious answers, you have a strong product design sense and the motivation to iterate to build best-in-class products; and you're focused on interpreting data and maximizing business outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define product strategy for a marketing suite that drives ARPU expansion and user growth

  • Collaborate with engineering and design to ship new, impactful changes and ensure consistency across the Squarespace platform overall including preparing requirements documents and technical specifications, coordinating user research, and tracking progress across multiple workstreams

  • Mentor and help set strategy for a team of product managers and coordinate with other managers to ensure appropriate staffing to achieve your goals

  • Lead the hiring and development of a team of PMs to achieve our goals

  • Partner with product marketing, customer operations, analytics, and strategy to further understand user needs and combine those needs into product strategy and roadmaps

  • Build relationships throughout the organization by creating agreement on strategy, managing complex projects across multiple teams.

  • Help shape processes and standards for product management at Squarespace

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 9 years of experience in product management, preferably in companies building marketing technology for small businesses, and at least 5 years experience managing product managers and diverse teams in a highly collaborative environment

  • Communicate product vision and inspire teams, and present to customers

  • Strong leader with the ability to inspire and motivate a team and foster strong team culture

  • Experience successfully driving user growth and engagement of new product lines and finding product/market fit.

  • Keen product intuition and UX design sensibilities, with an understanding of and empathy for users

  • Deep curiosity, creative thinking, and a mindset of experimentation and learning

  • Maximize efficiency in an evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm

This solution is a critical component of Intapp's Industry Cloud for Professional Services, which helps firm partners drive more revenue, operate profitably, manage risk and compliance, and deliver client success. This responsibility includes all products associated with our solution targeted at the CFO and COO of a firm including Intapp Time, Intapp Terms, and Intapp Pricing. The ideal person for this role will drive the execution of a solution-oriented go-to-market strategy based on serving the needs of its buyer segments. The Product Marketing Senior Director will lead a team of solution-oriented product marketers to develop audience-based positioning and messaging that builds awareness, preference, and loyalty across our campaigns. This person will work closely with product management, sales and marketing teams to define and execute go-to-market strategies that drive growth and market leadership. As part of your responsibilities, you will represent Intapp at industry events, sales and partner meetings. As a leader within Product Marketing, you are expected to understand the range of trends, challenges, alternatives and differentiators that impact our market success. With this insight, you will serve as a voice of the product both in the market and back into Intapp by leading the definition of the customer journey, buyer personas, messaging and positioning, competitive analysis, and monetization strategy. Responsibilities Build and maintain a high-performing team of solution-oriented product marketers. Thought leader and expert in business services technology including risk and client delivery technology solutions. Lead go-to-market execution for our solutions and influence how we prioritize and win target markets, product categories, and buyer segments. Develop positioning, messaging and content that articulates our value proposition to target buyers and markets and our differentiation in the marketplace. Oversee launch activities and go-to-market strategies for bringing product enhancements to market.  Partner with the Sellers and Product Managers to articulate product/feature roadmap, enable the sales team, and create assets to support the sales process. Maintain a key eye on market trends, evaluating customer needs, and prioritizing activities with product management. Qualifications * Demonstrated experience to create and grow demand. * Intellectual curiosity about the technology and business of professional services * Proven ability to inspire, lead and coach team of product marketers. * Product Marketing background, experience building positioning, packaging/pricing, marketing campaigns, and sales enablement * Demonstrated thought leadership in internal and external presentations and prospect engagements. * Ability to define and monitor the competitive landscape, market trends, and win/loss details to help Intapp maintain a leadership position. * Extensive experience developing and launching new products across a complex, multi-product offering. * Excellent written and oral communication skills, including creative written content (sales tools) and giving presentations to large audiences at conferences/seminars. * Ability to work in a highly matrixed organization * Background in industries with regulatory and compliance requirements such as accounting, finance, and legal is a plus * Willingness to travel 10% - 20% annually In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has: * A minimum of 8 years in Product Marketing, with some experience managing a small team. * Experience marketing Enterprise Application software: at least 5 years' experience marketing applications such as Financial Management Systems, Professional Services Automation (PSA) or ERP is ideal. * Demonstrated expertise and success in developing compelling product/solutions messaging that delivers clear benefits and differentiation. * Demonstrated success and experience in creating and growing demand. * Experience with both SaaS and On-Premise Software businesses. * Strong writing skills, analytic acumen, data and content synthesis for presentation, education, and reporting. * Articulate, strong presentation-writing and delivery skills and decision-making ability. * Strength working well with a wide range of people.
