Our client, an innovative medical device manufacturer, is seeking a Director of Product Marketing/Marketing Communications to join their established yet growing team in Duchess County. This role will have responsibilities of the Americas, spanning from Canada all the way to Latin America.
As the successful candidate you will be responsible for working directly with executive leadership and the 21 person marketing team to bring products to market; specifically focused on the tail end of the marketing cycle; launches and delivery.
Product Marketing Manager Job Duties/Functions
Coordinate product launches throughout the Americas; handling the organizations largest sales territory
Conduct analysis on marketing programs ensuring metrics are met or exceeded
Monitor sales and gross profit monthly and deliver information to Marketing Director
Develop relationship marketing measurement plans & KPIs, in partnership with other members of the marketing team, to ensure all activities are tied to measureable results and incorporated into decision-making to improve effectiveness of relationship marketing investments
Create collateral for buyer personas focused on generating awareness and supporting the consideration phase of the buying funnel
Create tools for sales people focused on closing sales in the purchasing phase of the buying funnel
Design and deliver training programs to help the sales force use and sell the product
Create and deliver information (webinars, white-papers, guides, etc.) to influence buyers and users
Work with the Executive Leadership and Marketing team staff to create and execute marketing strategies focused on increasing the value of our partnership, solutions, and customers

Product Marketing Manager Required/Desired Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Marketing or Business Administration
Five (5) or more years of experience in product management or marketing
Willingness to travel both international and domestic; 30% of the time and work in office 100% of the time NO REMOTE
Ability to organize and prioritize work to ensure effective, efficient and economic delivery of services
Experience managing 5 or more people
Computer proficiency; knowledge of Word and Excel
Track record of running product launches for tangible products; preferably a manufacturing group
Ability to multi-task and work effectively with internal and external teams
Experience in the health care industry strongly preferred
Someone with creative thinking skills that can follow process and support existing structures while adding to them
