The Team
Outreach is transforming how companies drive revenue. As Director of Product Management, you drive the strategy and execution of our data and analytics product capabilities, which are central to how our customers use the product. Outreach is in a hyper-growth stage and is looking for product leaders who thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, bring proven best practices that lead to quality outcomes and are excited for a role with real and immediate customer impact.
The data & analytics team builds and supports capabilities for all of Outreach's product offerings, from sales engagement to conversational intelligence and forecasting.
The Role
The mission of this role is to harness the power of Outreach's data, establishing Outreach as a critical sales execution platform for go-to-market professionals, focusing heavily on sales leadership personas. This role will help drive multiple initiatives which are focused on helping our customers maximize their investment in Outreach across the entire revenue team by surfacing data-informed insights at every level of the organization.
Your Daily Adventures Will Include
Outline the Outreach Data and Analytics product strategy for the next 3 years.
Deeply understand customer feedback and satisfaction/stickiness related to reporting and analytics across the platform.
Contribute to Outreach thought leadership about the evolution of sales execution workflows and the role which reporting and analytics plays in maximizing customer outcomes
Lead product discovery and roadmap sessions with key prospects and customers
Collaborate with engineering, design, business development and analytics teams to ship features that provide real value to the sales and operations teams who use Outreach to grow their business
Lead and encourage a team of accomplished product managers, enabling high performance and removing obstacles to attainment of their objectives
Drive the strategy for multiple scrum teams and champion new processes and best practices
Partner with product marketing to develop enablement and positioning collateral to share the product team's work with the world
Basic Qualifications
12+ years of experience building great software, including responsibilities driving prioritization, trade-offs, and timelines
4+ years of experience managing product teams
Ability to define long-term business strategy, and drive impact on short-term product goals
Self-starter that thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment with the demonstrated capacity to lead, motivate and work well with others
Deep understanding of customer needs, and strong motivation to tackle their problems
Demonstrated technical proficiency and effectiveness working closely with engineers
Strong skills around cross-functional collaboration, influence, and communication
Ability to achieve clarity and drive focus in complex domains
Strong analytical abilities and prior experience with building business cases, data analysis, and problem solving
Bachelor's degree; MBA or related graduate degree preferred
Prior experience in building products for B2B SaaS is preferred
The annual base salary range for this role is $175,000-$245,000 USD. You may also be offered incentive compensation, bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the your skills, qualifications, and experience. We also have a location-based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
