You, as a top candidate:

OutSystems is seeking a smart, passionate and business savvy mind to join our product management team. A top-notch candidate has a track record of expanding product reach through technical alliance channels in global cloud organizations. This position reports to the Director of Product Management, Platforms.

The Director of Product Management, Azure will be responsible for positioning and developing OutSystems offers in the Azure channel, marketplace and it's ecosystem of partners. The individual will work closely with our Channel and Alliances teams, to ensure the OutSystems offers are clear, relevant and of high quality to our target customers, specifically in verticals such as State & Local Government, Financial Services and others.

This role requires active Customer Development motions, tying together Azure and OutSystems channel partners, and working closely with cross-functional teams to iterate on and prioritize capabilities across vertical and platform products to best fit the growth targets. The successful candidate will be a savvy communicator who understands how to package a commercial platform like OutSystems into organizational buying journeys of our target customers. S/he will drive product definition, packaging, pricing and go to market initiatives from market discovery to launch, support and evolution, in conjunction with our partners and alliances.


  • Perform Customer Development, including market experimentation and co-sell motions in alliance with Microsoft and our Partners in verticals such as State and Local Government, Insurance or Banking.

  • Develop specific product positioning, value propositions, packaging, pricing and solution blueprints in combination with Azure and Partner value added solutions

  • Define, monitor and improve Go-to-Market initiatives through this specific channel, in full alignment with Sales, Alliances, Solution Architecture and Marketing teams

  • Lead the strategy and roadmap for OutSystems product and success offerings on Azure, in collaboration with Engineering, Alliances and our Partners

  • Nurture and expand OutSystems' strategic alliance with Microsoft, and develop related business lines for OutSystems

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years in leading technology products; ideally cloud and platform as a service

  • 3+ years experience in partnerships and alliances for a technology company, ideally related to Microsoft Azure and its ecosystem of partners

  • Understanding of IT and LoB buying journeys in organizations, and experience in Customer Development activities

  • Outstanding communicator oriented to the audience at hand, experienced with C-level

  • Ability to deliver results under pressure with limited resources, to adapt to changing requirements; to plan, organize and manage multiple priorities.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics. MBA Preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills.
