About the opportunity

Our Engagement segment is responsible for driving app engagement by providing our users with the information, tools and interface that they want to use every day. Core to our experience are our digital products. Financial decisions have daily recurrence. Getting our users to open our app daily is key to our future success. Leading this segment, you'll drive our product teams to ensure our bank of the future solves many daily problems not limited to financials.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and execute a segment product strategy, aligned to the overall product strategy and company vision.

  • Manage and develop the skills of product managers who report into you.

  • Align teams and priorities to deliver against key segment level OKRs.

  • Ensure segment insights and operational reports are in place.

  • Act as a role model for the product and organisational culture.

  • Engage other segment leads to ensure a seamless user experience.

What you need to be successful:

  • Demonstrated product and people leadership experience for a mobile or digital consumer product.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders of all levels.

  • A successful track record of leading strategy for a suite of products with high user engagement and outstanding user satisfaction.

  • Strong understanding of user behaviour and using the analysis of this behaviour to champion the user at every step of our customers journey.

In this position, you will lead a small group of product managers within the Growth & Commerce group. This domain consists of such functions as Product Driven Growth (Growth & Conversion), Commercial Platform (Marketing Tech, Payments & Subscriptions) and Advertising. You will lead product strategy and vision for unlocking new opportunities to grow our user base, optimizing the conversion funnel and driving the success of our core KPIs. You will report to the VP of Product, and collaborate closely with the design, engineering, and business leadership of the Creator and Listener teams. You have: * A rich product leadership and experience with optimizing user growth, conversion and retention of consumer-facing SaaS products, and preferably has experience working in the music or media industry. * At least 6 years experience in a product management role, preferably working in the music or media industry. You have a proven record of optimizing commercial funnel and customer life-cycle metrics. * A growth-hacking mindset and live and breathe rapid experimentation. * Led and mentored a group of product managers and contributed to their growth and development. * Can devise and execute a clear product vision and strategy for user and revenue growth of a platform. You can tie the goals to business needs and communicate this at executive level and across company wide stakeholders. * A proven experience in implementing organizational product management processes and practices. * Possess strong analytical and quantitative skills and the ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive prioritization. * Hold strong empathy for brand and growth marketing teams and have collaborated closely with them in the past. * Worked within a B2C organisation that has a successful consumer subscription product as a primary revenue driver. * Are comfortable making pragmatic decisions in a complex business environment, and empowering those on your team to do so with autonomy. When necessary though, you're prepared to get your hands dirty and contribute directly. * Are a proven team player with a keen sense of what helps us build and grow healthy, diverse, and high-performing teams.
