Responsible for the planning, organization and direction of the operations of the department throughappropriate utilization of resources and delegation of responsibilities to achieve high quality standard of carein pharmacy services. Plans the course of the department to achieve budgetary and regulatory compliancewhile insuring continuous quality of services provided.
Positions the department to achieve best practice inclinical services and medication management systems while insuring continuous quality of services provided.Responsible for the physical pharmacy plant, all pharmacy related automation, and controlled substancecompliance. Promotes the education and development of the pharmacy staff regarding pharmacy operationaland clinical pharmacy activities. Achieves and maintains satisfactory working relationships pharmacy staff andother hospital departments, committees and administrators.
