Director Of Pharmacy

Director of Pharmacy Carrollton Springs Carrollton, TX As a full time, exempt CPS Solutions, LLC Director of Pharmacy at Carrolton Springs Hospital in Carrolton, Texas, you will oversee all pharmacy operations including planning, organizing, controlling, and supervising activities, according to hospital policies, standards of practice of the profession, and state and federal laws. You will recommend innovations in the practice and function of the pharmacy to hospital administration and carry out mutually agreed upon programs with assistance from a full support team.

Schedule: This full time, exempt position will work a minimum of 40 hours per week, primarily Monday through Friday, day shift. About the Facility: Carrollton Springs is a newly renovated 78-bed psychiatric and chemical dependency hospital located on a beautiful campus in Carrollton, Texas is a part of Worth Metro Area north of Dallas, TX.

We provide inpatient and outpatient programming for those facing mental health and addiction challenges. We treat adults ages 18, as well as provide specialized programming for active-duty military, veterans, first responders, and other high-risk frontline professionals. Partner to integrate behavioral and medical healthcare to improve the health of populations and reduce the per capita cost of healthcare.

About the Pharmacy: The Pharmacy utilizes CPOE, EMAR and Pyxis. The Pharmacy is open M-F 7:00am

• 3:00pm. Required Qualifications: Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred Current Pharmacist license in good standing in Texas Experience as a Pharmacist in a Hospital setting preferred Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems Effective communications skills; verbal and written Hospital Requirements: (may be required) (PPD) TB Skin Test
