Could This Be For You?
As the Director of Payroll Operations, you will report directly to the Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer within the Hanger Accounting and Finance Department, and will work closely with the HR, Accounting and IT organizations. In this critical role, you will directly manage, and provide strategic, tactical, and operational leadership for the development, and sustainment of systems, processes, and resources for enterprise payroll operations.
The Director of Payroll Operations will be instrumental in the design, administration and ongoing operational services of the payroll function, enabling efficient and effective ways to deliver standardized Payroll solutions to the entire organization. This role will be pivotal in building better value, improving operational efficiency and delivery of Payroll services.

Your Impact
Lead company-wide payroll processes to include interfaces between multiple systems
Manage the Company's relationship with ADP, ensuring service delivery as it relates to compliance, contractual agreements, and service quality to the organization and its employees
Responsible for the integration of Payroll technology related to employee services and Payroll transaction processing including long-term and short-term technology strategic efforts
Manage the payroll and time management systems and processes at benchmark or above levels
Effectively control and monitor the administration of all Payroll system transactional activities including internal and external reporting
Manage monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounting processes to include close, reconciliation review, flux analysis and reporting
Manage acquisition activity related to payroll
Manage, plan and set customer service objectives and metrics for service delivery and transactional processing
Conduct regular Payroll benchmarking to drive process improvements and deliverables
Provide leadership and management oversight to all Payroll staff to implement and evaluate programs and plans that result in increased organizational efficiencies
Act as a change agent and promote innovation and continual improvement
Provide leadership and supervision of staff
Minimum Qualifications
To be formally considered for this key position within the team, you must have achieved all of the following required minimal qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or other related field preferred.
10+ years experience in Payroll to include 5+ years in a leadership role while managing teams
Expertise in management, process design and practices
Deep subject matter expertise in payroll systems including ADP and Oracle
High priority placed on team work and delivering exceptional customer service
Demonstrated critical thinking and effective problem solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
