Position Overview:

As a Director of Operations, you will be responsible for directing and leading the firm’s Operations teams. You will report directly to the VP of Operations and maintain oversight of daily tasks and initiatives, specifically focusing on business purpose business lines. A successful Operations Director will have a strong understanding of the real estate and mortgage industries. Mortgage operations experience is necessary, additionally operations management experience in a real estate firm is ideal.

• Proven leadership ability
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree required. Focus on finance, business or economics is preferred
• Experience in a mortgage operations business in a proven leadership role training, managing, and overseeing processors and underwriters
• Ability to work cooperatively with managers, supervisors, and associates
• Team player mentality, positive attitude, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Technologically savvy for reporting purposes and the ability to learn new systems quickly
• Strong organization skills with the ability to self-manage time and workflow to meet deadlines

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and direct daily activity for the Operations teams, including loan processors, underwriters, and credit analysts, focusing specifically on the business purpose product lines i.e., Bridge and Rental loans.
• Monitor productivity and budgetary performance of the operations department, ensuring efficient management of processes and balanced delegation of work is prioritized
• Ensure LendingOne customer satisfaction remains exemplary by frequently reviewing customer comments, concerns, and questions. Track Service Level Agreements (SLAs) within the operations department and provide coaching as necessary to make improvements
• Manage and track individual and team performance to provide updates to senior leadership regarding overall process, performance, and productivity
• Create and communicate operational goals for the team that align with overall business objectives
• Contribute to efficient loan operations by maintaining an understanding of overall business initiatives, implementing changes where needed
• Assist in onboarding efforts for new employee training in conjunction with the training team and other departmental managers
