The University of Michigan Athletic Department is seeking a Director of Operations for its Cross Country and Track & Field programs. This full-time position reports to the Head Coaches and is responsible for assisting in all phases of the program in accordance with NCAA, Conference and University rules, regulations and policies.
Team logistics and travel.
Organization of recruiting visits and travel.
Special events and projects.
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Excellent computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office.
Experience working in a fast pace, complex environment in intercollegiate athletics or related field.
Excellent administrative and organizational skills including the ability to prioritize and complete tasks by established deadlines.
Ability to collaborate effectively within Michigan Athletics and the University community.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Availability to work evening and weekend hours including travel to away competitions.
