About this opportunity:
We are now looking for a Director of Operations Excellence (DOE) to ensure that all contractual deliveries are fulfilled towards one customer account. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing end to end operational performance towards the account according to agreed targets. The role is acting on behalf of Operations, typically for one or more customer accounts.
The DOE shall ensure that the portfolio is maintained and that projects within that portfolio are progressing according to schedule. The DOE can take on the role as CFR in the pre-sales phase. This role is critical for ensuring communication to the KAM and Service Delivery organization for specific progress and support, as well as towards Engagement Practices for providing input into opportunities towards the customer.
What you will do:
Develop close relationship with Networks team and leadership to ensure optimum interaction, knowledge, and customer satisfaction
Thought lead the Networks LT, challenging and guiding them towards success
Drive change and make a lasting difference
Work with peers in Business Operations to ensure consistent, improved, and efficient ways of working
Ensure that no issues go unaddressed
Drive business transformation, cost improvements, and operational excellence (Networks in IT, mobile phone, facility, and other common areas, such as P-Card and travel)
Improve reporting, process, and controls around centralized cost, driving SDE/WAVE savings cards towards targets
Drive and support ad-hoc initiatives/projects that arise
Support all centralized staff teams including Program Management Center of Excellence (PMCoE), and Digital transformation regarding initiative tracking and process, and improvements
Drive ISO Audits and BCM across Networks ensuring successful completion, engagement and process
Ensure system/process data is updated on an annual basis driving any required change management with local and global stakeholders
Support the growth/expansion of the Add-on-Sales Initiative
Develop an internal governance structure and process that drives Networks to a standardized KPI structure for cost, resource management, delivery and operational accountability
Drive preparation and consolidation of KPIs, Monthly Governance, and Quarterly Operations reviews
Drive the evolution of centralized information for fingertip management and exception-based management across network (design, visualizations, and drill down strategy)
Handover and manage the timelines of change
The skills you bring:
10-15 years of Telecom experience
Bachelors Degree from a recognized institution in Engineering, Business or IT
Previous experience in establishing a Governance Structure across multiple organizations
Experience in Strategic design of Data, Visualization, and development of information flows
Able to tell a compelling story with data through logical thinking
Understanding of PMI principals and the ability to run internal projects
Understanding of project and work flows from the customer through SAP, order desk, supply, etc.
Strong Financial and business acumen with experience in resource planning
Working flexible hours with travel (25-50%)
