The Director of Operations is a strategic partner to the VP of Operations. The Director of Operations will be responsible for providing inspirational leadership and developing and implementing strategies and processes for Production, Warehouse, and Maintenance. This position requires the ideal candidate to be nimble in a fast-changing and fast-paced business environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Effectively lead and mentor teams to drive manufacturing efficiency and excellence

  • Develop, implement, track and report department KPIs including labor levels, production, maintenance and warehouse efficiencies

  • Provide mentoring and hold teams accountable for driving high-impact business results

  • Determine labor budget based on sales budget/forecast

  • Optimize production, maintenance and warehouse processes

  • Conduct budget reviews to maximize profits

  • Ensure company policies are being followed

  • Anticipate staffing needs and work with Human Resources to attract and retain the right talent

  • Work with department heads to develop financial plans and ensure company-wide compliance

  • Drive continuous improvement and improve overall operational efficiency

  • Identify weak spots in processes and develop efficiencies

  • Organize and prioritize work assignments based on company needs

  • Support and help prioritize capital expenditure projects based on operational needs

  • Work closely and effectively with other departments including Sales, Marketing, Quality, R&D and Human Resources

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing management

  • Bachelor's degree in Business

  • Successful track record planning, executing and achieving strategic growth plans

  • Experience analyzing budgets, forecasts and financial statements

  • Successful track record leading teams and organizational effectiveness

  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance

  • Ability to work long hours and overtime as needed

Additional Abilities

  • This job requires that the employee is able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time

  • When employee enters production areas, they may be exposed to moderate levels of noise

YOUR IMPACT You are looking to join a fast-paced, dynamic team that has broad connectivity across the firm for a franchise critical process. You will collaborate with cross-Federation teams and across the globe to manage the firm's cash payments and receipts access requests and enforce the firm's payment policies. You have a strong desire to learn about the firms different businesses and how they support our client and manage business risks. You will work closely with subject matter experts across the firm who are part of Payments Working Group to build requirements, implement and enforce the firm's payment policies requirements across number of business-owned payment applications as well as non-core payment applications outside the firm. OUR IMPACT Treasury Services is a sub division of the Operations Division. As a global, multi-faceted and cross-product sub division, our primary objectives are to: lead from the front in helping build new payments-centric businesses, while building scale and improving agility to adapt to a rapidly changing payment landscape; act as a first line of defense for control and governance to protect firms financial assets; and incorporate differentiated client service to be best in class. Treasury Services is a growing subdivision globally, with regional presence in Singapore, Bengaluru, London, New Jersey, New York and Salt Lake City with all our offices working closely together as a global team. The sub division has a rare opportunity to support products and businesses ranging across existing and new business lines, multiple payment types, and multiple client types, including franchise/institutional, consumer and corporate cash management sectors. We manage a wide range of complex processes, with members developing skills and competencies around cash management (payment controls, bank account management, settlements and reconciliations, claims), change management, regulatory requirements, and industry trends. RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL * Manage daily access requests from firmwide users to Payments systems a portfolio of cash payments and receipts; work with business units to monitor payment, credit and sanctions risk * Actively assist to develop an overall payments governance strategy as the industry evolves alongside our business needs. The ideal individual will assist the management team to build our next generation access management and policy enforcement capabilities in the payments space * Liaise with FCC compliance team to review non-core payments exception requests to the firmwide payment policy * Front line interaction with business units seeking to establish non-core access in accordance with firmwide payment policy to agent banks and vendors for processing of cash * Perform a number of quality assurance reviews of targeted payment functions, ensuring integrity and compliance with payment policies and guidelines * Manage our daily enforcements monitoring for entitlements, dormant and training breaches * Work with internal business units, payments subject matter experts and engineering app owners to identify payment application entitlements for Governance tracking and resolve and exceptions / discrepancies.
