Description and Responsibilities
At Open Sky we recognize the importance of person-centered mental health services. The Bridge Counseling Center serves individuals in the community, as well as individuals who are served through other Open Sky programs, in an outpatient capacity. We offer evidence-based practices that include medication management and cognitive-behavioral treatments to support individuals with various clinical presentations. These include Psychotic and Affective Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Trauma Disorders, Borderline Personality Disorder, Substance use disorders and others.
The Director of Operations and Practice Management will play a critical role supporting the overall administration, operations, billing, and reimbursement practices of the Bridge Counseling Center. An ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of behavioral health, financial and business operations, knowledge of contract agency regulation/requirements, and the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team with effective communication.
Other Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a dynamic and responsive practice management system that drives organizational success with an efficient and effective practice management cycle.
Develop effective internal controls that promote adherence to applicable Federal and State law, and the program requirements of Federal, State and private health plans.
Lead efforts to develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate the effectiveness of billing and reimbursement practices to improve revenue capture and proper encounter tracking.
Oversee the successful completion of post audit improvement plans, actively engage providers and/or leadership in need education and correction in a timely manner.
Contribute to the completion of various financial forecasts, clinical service line productivity and program performance analysis.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field, required.
Proficiency in administrative tasks such as scheduling, billing, record-keeping, and managing electronic health records systems. Considerable knowledge and ability to apply management principles and techniques, required.
Extensive knowledge of Behavioral Health business and financial operations, working knowledge of acceptable business practices with contract agencies, required.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with multi-disciplinary staff, required.
Valid Drivers License and acceptable driving record, required.
