Benchmark at Mt. Pleasant is seeking a compassionate and caring Director of Nursing to lead and support our resident care team. With the added support of a nurse designee and additional leadership in the resident care department, you can focus on quality assurance, care plans, resident assessments, regulatory compliance and associate training, without the added stress of heavy scheduling.
In this position you will oversee hiring, training, and managing of our community care team. This role will also serve as the liaison with family members, community agencies, physicians, and outside care providers.
Additional job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assuring compliance with all resident care related regulations (e.g., medication management, resident assessments, care plans)
Documenting and providing accurate record-keeping, as appropriate
Demonstrating personal/resident safety methods and procedures
Representing Benchmark Senior Living with pride and knowledge to educate outside groups and organizations
Employment Status: Full-Time, Exempt
Compensation: $120,000 - $125,000

Job Requirements
Required Experience/Skills:
Must possess a Registered Nurse (RN) license in NY State.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a care setting; Assisted Living/Home Care or Hospice or LTC setting preferred.
Minimum 1 year of supervisory/management experience
Knowledge of Dementia care a plus
