Specialty hospital less than 30 miles west of Manchester is seeking a NH-licensed Director of Nursing to provide nursing management in a post-acute specialty hospital setting. My client is a 62 bed facility, specializes in brain injury, spinal cord injury, vent management and other serious medical conditions at acute, subacute and skilled levels of care.
The DON leads the Hospitals nursing clinical team to fulfill the organizations mission, vision and values. The DON provides leadership and direction in the operations associated with direct patient care and nursing practice to meet the patients needs and expectations.
This position is responsible for patient safety, quality assurance and improvement, and fiscal management. The DON is responsible for implementation of a nursing and clinical program that is consistent with an evidence-based practice for decision making, regulatory and other legal requirements for both a hospital and long term care facility.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with BSN required. A minimum of five years of full-time clinical experience with at least two years experience in nursing supervision in a long term care or acute care setting is required.
