Director Of Nursing

The Director of Nursing provides leadership and support to the Nursing Department and is responsible for the oversight and administration of the Nursing Program, ensuring excellence in CCM's comprehensive nursing education program. This shall include matters such as student and faculty management, curriculum design and delivery and instruction, clinical partnership management, accreditation management, overseeing budget, facilities ad Simulation Center management, program expansions and promotion of CCM's Associate Degree Nursing Program.

Qualifications

• Education

Minimum of a Master's Degree in Nursing

Earned Doctorate in Nursing Preferred

New Jersey Licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse

Qualifications

• Experience

Minimum 5 years teaching experience in Associate or Baccalaureate Nursing Degree Program

Administrative experience in academic setting

Participation and service in professional and/or community organizations

Working knowledge of all courses and programs of study offered by the department.

Experience in course delivery in a variety of formats

Detail oriented and organized

Knowledge of Microsoft and Outlook software or similar packages

Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
