Job Summary:

Direct all Midwest undergraduate admission activities in support of the College's mission and institutional goals. Primary responsible for speaking to prospective students and their families about Marist through high school visits, college fairs, information sessions and campus visits. Conduct freshman application readings.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 3-5 years of related experience

Essential Functions:

• Independently manage geographic territory by analyzing multiple data sources to develop and create an extensive travel, recruitment, communication and outreach plan to drive new student enrollment in support of the strategic goals of the college.

• Review and make admission decisions on traditional undergraduate applications to Marist. Thoroughly evaluate student credentials and personal qualities. Serve as a member of the Admission and Scholarship Committee which renders final admission and merit award decisions for all applicants.

• Conduct information sessions and college fairs/nights, meeting with prospective students and their families. Prepare and revise presentations as needed to ensure appropriate information for audience (e.g., general, specific academic area, honor program).

• Answer incoming phone calls and emails that come through the Marist Admission Office from prospective students and their families. Provide guidance to students, parents, and guidance counselors.

• Assist covering virtual programs for the main campus and other regions.

• Collaborate with the Director of Alumni Admission Program to identify and utilize alumni to broaden and diversify recruitment and outreach activities.

• Other duties as assigned.

• Tuition Benefits:

• Up to 16 undergraduate credits per semester. Up to 18 graduate credit per academic calendar. Eligibility extends to employee, spouse, and dependent children under age 26.

• College pays 100% tuition only.

• Eligible dependents may be Reimbursed up to $2,000 per semester towards tuition at another accredited institution.

• Eligibility requirements including waiting periods and/or employee probationary periods may apply at the discretion of the College.
