The Director of Member Marketing, C&S, will lead the national member marketing team responsible for creating and delivering member-facing marketing strategies across our existing Community & State markets. The member marketing director will lead all member-facing marketing initiatives including required materials, enrollment, onboarding, clinical and retention. The member marketing director must have a strong understanding of the C&S business as well as the overall member experience. This role will partner with several C&S teams as well as additional cross-functional member teams throughout UnitedHealthGroup to drive revenue through the member experience.
Create and manage the C&S member marketing strategies including initiatives centered specifically around onboarding, clinical gaps in care and retention to improve the overall member experience
Serve as the overall representative for the C&S member marketing team
Own the C&S perspective for all integrated systems that impact our member experience including but not limited to EPMP
Partner with the member experience teams at the UHG, UHC and individual business segments
Analyze current measures to prioritize initiatives and determine ROI opportunities
Be the overall representative of all member-facing marketing and communication initiatives
Have a deep understanding of the available benefits, programs and tools that can be utilized to improve the member experience
Lead external vendors on programs and initiatives designed to improve the member experience and overall drive revenue.
Represent C&S marketing on all state and CMS-driven audits of our business
Serve as the lead for all plan implementations from the member perspective
Report out to leaders on the results of initiatives and programs
7 years of experience working in a matrix organization
7 years of direct marketing experience
7 years of member marketing experience
People management experience
Proficiency in Microsoft office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Health care experience
Experience managing a cross-functional task-force
