Description

As the Director of Marketing for Supira Medical, you will play a key role in shaping the marketing strategy and executing campaigns that will define the success of our percutaneous ventricular assist devices (pVADs). You will be responsible for developing and executing marketing ideas that successfully communicate our value proposition and build brand awareness. This is a full time on-site position and will require reporting to our offices located in Los Gatos, CA.

Responsibilities, Skills & Hands-On Experience

• Develops and executes marketing campaigns:

• Including, development of marketing collateral.

• Digital and social media marketing promotional campaigns.

• Overall media plan content to articulate the company's vision.

• Works with the clinical and senior leadership team to craft messaging and positioning that supports the value propositions of our product, a low profile, high continuous flow device designed to reduce the risk of vascular complications currently associated with present devices.

• Develops strategies for communications to be used to educate various stakeholders ranging from investors to strategic buyers.

• Conducts qualitative and quantitative market research to understand any current competitors or potential future competitors in the pVAD space.

• Identifies, fosters, and manages relationships with KOLs.

• Analyzes clinical and market data to assess future messaging opportunities.

• Helps put together a global strategy for relevant industry meetings and plans podium presence and related promotional activities at various conferences.

Education & Work Experience

• MBA strongly preferred; bachelor's degree in engineering, life sciences or business discipline required.

• Cardiovascular Medical Device experience is required; specifically with class III devices, experience with pVADs or similar devices preferred.

• Minimum of 12+ years of marketing in a medical device company with downstream marketing experience.

• Start-up experience preferred.

• Ability to influence at all levels in an organization, excellent collaboration, and negotiation skills; Strong analytical skills working with clinical or research data.

• Ability to travel.

Our salary ranges are calculated by role and level. Your position within that range will be determined by your job-related knowledge, skills, experience, relevant education, and training/certifications. In addition to those factors, we also examine internal equity as well as consider current market rate, and title may be assessed one level lower or higher accordingly. After you join the company your performance, contributions, and results along with business and organizational needs will affect your base salary. The base salary range for this full-time position is between $180,000 to $220,000 + equity + benefits.
