Director of Marketing for Legal TV Leads

Legal TV Leads is looking for a Marketing Director to support its business growth. As a leader in the cost-per-call legal space, we are changing the way attorneys advertise on broadcast TV.

Key Roles and

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute marketing programs that increase awareness among our key audiences
  • Collaborate closely, across the company, with team members and contractors
  • Impact all levers of the sales process through acquisition, education, enablement, and advocacy
  • Proactively report on strategy, outcomes, and tactics to internal teams
  • Manage marketing automation platform (Hubspot) and develop workflows that integrate seamlessly with CRM
  • Measure and refine marketing activities based on performance
  • Create systematic demand generation programs to scale communications efforts
  • Increase brand awareness, lead generation, and digitally-sourced / -enabled revenue
  • Learn and demonstrate a deep understanding of Legal TV Leads customers, industry, and competition leveraging content and creative developed by other marketing team members
  • Deliver the appropriate messages and content in the appropriate channel to contacts as they move along the customer journey (ie, from prospect to new customer to repeat customer)
  • Manage advertising strategy / website strategy
  • Achieve KPIs and report / analyze data to optimize digital marketing as well as other facets of marketing (eg, messaging, creative)

Required education, experience and skills:

  • Minimum 5+ years B2B marketing experience for growth-oriented technology companies
  • High integrity and intellectual honesty
  • Experience creating and executing demand generation programs
  • Relentless attention to detail regarding logic, clarity, language, and the buyers journey
  • Collaborative and team-oriented
  • High comfort with data and logic
  • Proficiency using marketing automation tools like Hubspot
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong work ethic / excellent time-management skills
  • Organized with strong attention to detail

The CTO promotes Colorado to travelers through domestic and international marketing, public relations, social media, the Official State Vacation Guide and colorado.com and provides traveler services at Colorado Welcome Centers. The CTO collaborates with destination marketing organizations, local communities, industry associations, government agencies and private businesses to market Colorado as a superlative destination, support development of new travel experiences and educate visitors about traveling the state responsibly. The CTO is focused on a vision of positioning Colorado as the premier U.S. destination for active, outdoor and unique experiences that make you feel truly alive. The FY19 budget is $20 million. Description of Job The CTO Deputy Director for US Marketing works collaboratively to lead the CTO's multi-million-dollar domestic marketing operations, partnership marketing, product and brand management and research initiatives promoting Colorado as a premier travel destination. Reporting to the CTO Director, the Deputy Director works in a team environment with CTO colleagues and vendor partners and receives policy and direction from the CTO Director as well as guidance from the CTO Tourism Marketing Committee and the Colorado Tourism Board. Key Responsibilities and Duties * Working collaboratively with the CTO Director, team members and vendor partners, manages strategic development of an integrated marketing initiative to fulfill CTO goals for promoting Colorado travel through advertising, public relations, web-based communications, social media, content development and other opportunistic media. * Ensures consistency of CTO's branding, domestically and internationally, and integration of content and messaging across all marketing channels. * Has direct oversight of CTO employees whose job responsibilities relate to domestic marketing promotion, including the Communications Manager, the Manager of Industry Partnerships and the Marketing & Communications Coordinator. * Has direct oversight of the work of CTO vendor partners and contractors, including the advertising agency of record as well as contractors for public relations; social media; emerging media; management and development of Colorado.com; sales of advertising in CTO channels; development and distribution of travel resources, including the Official State Vacation Guide, as well as video and other media; and research. * Manages the CTO contracts associated with these vendors, including development of annual statements of work governing the deliverables of each vendor in compliance with state fiscal requirements. * Manages the budget lines associated with each of these vendors and other CTO marketing initiatives, including creation of contracts and purchase orders and timely review of invoices. * In collaboration with the CTO Director and with input from vendor partners and CTO team members, develops an annual integrated marketing plan aimed at addressing opportunities and challenges identified by annual research and fulfilling objectives of the CTO's strategic plan. * In collaboration with the CTO Director and with input from vendor partners and CTO team members, develops annual goals to fulfill the CTO strategic plan and other statewide performance plans as well as metrics to track performance. * Directs the CTO's annual research program to strengthen and measure effectiveness of CTO's marketing initiative and manages vendors associated with that work. * Leads development of RFPs for work relating to domestic marketing and participates in selection of vendors with input from other participants as assigned by the CTO Director. * Contributes to development of the CTO strategic plan and other key initiatives stemming from the plan. * Contributes to development of CTO brand. * Leads the tracking and reporting of key goals and metrics for all domestic marketing programs, including development and management of a monthly dashboard. * Manages the CTO's Tourism Marketing Committee to secure industry input into CTO's domestic marketing initiatives and ensure that industry partners are informed of CTO marketing strategy. * Oversees development of domestic partnership marketing opportunities, including cooperative marketing programs and CTO initiatives furthering group travel, including support for Destination Colorado and Tour Colorado. * Collaborates with other OEDIT divisions as well as other state agencies to further the CTO's strategy as well as broader state goals for furthering economic development through tourism. * In collaboration with CTO Director, oversees development of the CTO's annual educational and networking event, the annual Colorado Governor's Tourism Conference. * Represents the CTO and the CTO Director, as assigned, in sharing CTO's perspective in speaking engagements or providing input into industry or agency partner initiatives, whether state, regional or national. * Performs other duties and supports other CTO initiatives as required. Minimum Qualifications, Substitutions, Conditions of Employment & Appeal Rights REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: The CTO Deputy Director must have strong leadership and management skills; the ability to work with and motivate fellow team members and work with a wide variety of people at all levels in challenging situations and exercise confidentiality and discretion as appropriate; skill in relationship building and networking with a diverse population of organizations, associations and interest groups; be team-oriented and have the demonstrated ability to work effectively with colleagues, the CTO Director and an appointed Colorado Tourism Board. Extensive knowledge of and demonstrated skill in people management, brand management, program planning, budget management and coordination of multiple projects and assignments. Experience in writing, reviewing, negotiating, and monitoring legal contracts is highly preferred. Highly developed oral and written communications skills that include a demonstrated ability to edit and write various documents; strong technical understanding of marketing, media channels and related technology; excellent time management skills, including the demonstrated ability to meet timelines and prioritize multiple projects; ability and willingness to work hours beyond the standard daily or weekly schedule when necessary and travel as job requires. Knowledge and experience in the tourism and travel industry is highly preferred. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: A four-year college degree in business, marketing, communications, tourism/hospitality or closely related field is required. Eight or more years of experience in marketing and people management with a thorough knowledge of marketing principles, product or service management, sales and business development, along with a track record of success and performance, is strongly preferred. This leadership position requires the ability to understand changing market dynamics, translate them into actionable strategy and implement initiatives to achieve pre-set objectives as determined by the marketing plan. The Deputy Director should have experience in managing budgets effectively across multiple departments, financial reporting as well as setting up effective metrics and business processes.
