Our client is setting a new industry standard in AI ad optimization, and they're looking for a dynamic Director of Marketing to join their team. This role requires an e-marketplace expert with cross-functional team management experience who can generate leads to build a robust pipeline across paid, earned, and owned channels. As Director of Marketing, you'll qualify B2B prospects with varying sales cycles and nurture partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and creative with a passion for shaping the future of e-commerce through compelling content and positioning their brand as a thought leader in the B2B space.Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns across verticals and tech partners
  • Streamline brand message across key segments, using content strategy to support demand generation and brand goals
  • Analyze project and campaign for performance measurement, leveraging internal and external resources to create customer-centric and brand roadmaps uniquely tailored to each account
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, internal and external partners to product high-value and compelling content
  • Develop account-based marketing campaigns and own all marketing materials and tech platforms, including automation, email, data, BDR enablement, and measurement
  • Improve digital assets, including web site, social media, and event materials
  • Produce creative content across all mediums, including video and social media channels, to optimize engagement
  • Oversee annual marketing budget and reports, tracking metrics over time to extract strategic insights for optimization
  • Develop all marketing materials including collateral and assets
  • Drive awareness and demand through field marketing efforts and developing a comprehensive partner marketing strategy
  • Manage platform connectivity to ensure sales and marketing teams always have access to customer data

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience managing a B2B marketing team; Start-up experience a plus
  • Proven track record of success in lead generation and working with a sales team
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to work effectively under pressure while managing client expectations and priorities
  • History of collaborating with tech partners in joint sales and marketing efforts
  • Self-starter with an understanding of short- and long-sales cycles with multi-touch attribution
  • Knowledge of Amazon vendors and key metrics is a plus
  • Familiarity with optimizing product detail pages to create innovative content from titles to key features
  • Well-versed in Marketo
  • Based in NY; open to remote

Studs is a brand-driven company with ambitious organic marketing goals, and this person will play a critical role in driving success for the organization. This person will collaborate closely with CEO, Digital, Finance, Content Marketing, Creative, &amp; Performance Marketing. This person will start with one direct report, the department’s Project Manager. </p><p><br>You Will Be Responsible For:</p><p>Marketing Operations &amp; Planning: </p><ul> <li>Support CMO in business planning and setting the overall organic marketing budget and allocation with goal setting and KPI tracking</li> <li>Collaborate with CMO in organizational design, recruiting, business processes and systems for the marketing function</li> </ul> <p>Integrated Marketing: </p> <ul> <li>Design strategy and systems for integrated campaigns across content, partnerships, advertising, community, product marketing, retention and loyalty, retail and creative.</li> <li>Set goals, work cross-functionally to project manage campaigns, track results and lead reporting to the company</li> </ul> <p>New Channel Testing: </p> <ul> <li>Develop strategic framework for expanding our marketing activities and channels online &amp; offline (e.g. TikTok, brand partnerships, etc.) and collaborate cross-functionally to incubate new strategies.</li> <li>Hands-on testing of new channels with agencies or in-house resources </li> <li>Lead decision-making on which channels to scale and how to scale them</li> </ul> <p>Data Analytics &amp; Consumer Insights: </p> <ul> <li>Track and report business analytics against KPIs</li> <li>Develop and run Marketing &amp; Creative’s consumer insights function</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>Requirements</p><ul> <li>7+ years of work experience; background in marketing, management consulting or corporate strategy and experience in marketing strategy, consumer/retail industry, and high-growth startups is ideal</li> <li>Passion for brand-driven growth and for the future of retail is required</li> <li>Out-of-the-box creative and strategic thinker </li> <li>Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; collaborate effectively with cross functional partners</li> <li>Strong data analysis abilities, including in Excel and ideally Tableau / SQL</li> <li>Excellent attention to detail and very organized</li> </ul> Studs New York NY
