This position is responsible for directing and conducting all managed care activities for Saint Mary's. This includes the planning, direction and coordination of negotiation, renegotiations, analysis, maintenance and implementation of all managed care agreements with current and prospective purchasers and providers of healthcare services (e.g.: Health Maintenance Organizations (HMO's), Preferred Provider Organizations (PPO's), Exclusive Provider Organizations (EPOs), governmental agencies, and medical groups on behalf of Saint Mary's hospital and related facilities.
This position is also responsible for coordination and communication between managed care and other key stakeholder departments (e.g. Administration, PFS, Care Management, and finance).
1.7 to 10 years experience with contracting preferred.
2.Bachelors degree in business, hospital administration, public health or related field preferred.
3.Effective communication skills.
4.Sexual Harassment training within 90 days of hire and annually thereafter
