Job Description:

The Director of Maintenace position sets the overall goals, strategies, and objectives for the maintenance department and also for each individual team member.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in facility maintenance and groundskeeping with abilities in any of the following areas: carpentry, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, heating and cooling.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

General carpentry, basic plumbing, minor electrical not requiring licensed technicians.

Coordinates custodial staff with respects to maintenance functions of the buildings and grounds.

Organizes preventive maintenance schedules for mechanical systems.

Assists in identifying training needs for maintenance custodial staff.

Develops systematic record-keeping with respect to job functions.

Determines appropriate response to work order requests.

Consult with administration regarding maintenance and custodial needs of the district.

Organizes purchase requests and inventory for custodial and maintenance supplies and equipment for the district.

Coordinates summer custodial/maintenance work.

Coordinates with building principals in regards to the needs of each building.

Other duties as assigned.

BASE SALARY of $50,000 - increased salary range depending on experience.
