Director Of Maintenance

Job Description Job Description Condominium Consulting Management Services is currently hiring a director of maintenance at a beachfront resort condominium complex in Port Aransas, TX. The homeowners and guests of the condominiums are highly dependent on the services that the maintenance teams provide with regard to preventative maintenance and interior upkeep.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Providing direction and evaluating performance of maintenance and grounds personnel. Scheduling maintenance tasks and repairs, reviewing work performed and signing off on projects.

Obtaining bids from contractors and scheduling work to be completed. Overseeing vendor repairs and duties to sign off on completion before payment is released. HVAC knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications: Previous experience as a maintenance manager or supervisor Strong organizational skills Strong computer literacy Attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication skills HVAC experience preferred but not required Please note, this position is for a maintenance manager. Most of the time allocated for this position will be spent overseeing staff, interviewing, hiring, scheduling, reviewing work, performance evaluations, ordering and maintaining inventory and reporting to departments. While work order and maintenance work is required, candidate must be capable at management of employees and followup.
