Your Career

Palo Alto Networks IT is building a world-class IT product management team and continues to look for top-notch IT product managers to expand the team.

Your Impact

  • Partner with the business stakeholders across Sales and Channels to drive and influence strategic transformation and translate those to actionable delivery

  • Be comfortable operating in a matrixed structure, directly managing scrum masters and ensuring delivery of the initiatives through a matrixed engineering team.

  • Market and business analysis, requirements development, business case, and product roadmap development

  • Effectively partner with business and IT teams to deliver on an aggressive agenda of projects for improving Channels and transform our renewals business globally

  • Manage project portfolio associated with Customer Experience IT development effectively, manage feature prioritization and trade-off decision making

  • Act as the product owner in an Agile/Scrum process and own writing of user stories, acceptance criteria, and sign off on feature completion

  • Manage business expectations, being proactive in planning for fiscal quarters and annual planning, and building excellent partnerships with various leaders within the company

  • Stay in touch with the industry advancements, technology advancements and use that to influence business strategic thinking

  • Apply consumer-product mindset to enterprise-level complexity to produce elegant product solutions

  • Strong desire to take ownership of IT portfolio and drive a product roadmap

  • Drive to design something new, innovative, and disruptive

Your Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering or an equivalent combination of skills, training, and experience is required

  • At least 5-8 years of product management experience with at least three years managing teams especially compromising of business analysts/product managers

  • Strong domain expertise working with teams across organizations with a stellar track record of success

  • Proven experience translating desired customer experiences into clearly defined product requirements

  • Strong understanding and experience with Agile/Scrum teams as a Product Owner

  • Understanding of the fundamental concepts of machine learning

  • Strong market analytic/quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive actions

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Understanding of basic human-centered design philosophy and practice

  • Strong understanding of the day to day needs of support organizations and their tooling (SFDC and Custom Applications.)

Job Description: We have an exciting leadership role for a Director, Product Security who will be responsible for the design, development and strategy for the security of digital products hosted in a public cloud computing environment. The Director will contribute expertise, embrace emerging trends and provide overall guidance on security best practices across all of News Corp business and technology groups. The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills required to partner with other leaders across the global business to identify opportunities and risks. The position will require the ability to multitask and work independently, as well as work collaboratively with teams, some of which may be geographically distributed. Key responsibilities include: * Help build, maintain and execute a strategy to secure our customer-facing products. * Develop security standards and policies to ensure products are built to meet those needs * Support product engineering teams to address security issues and ensure sound trade-offs * Functional leadership to lead and conduct code scanning (SAST/DAST/RAST/SCA), threat modeling, penetration testing, security in CI/CD for News Corp applications (web/mobile) * Championing a DevOps security model so that security is automated and elastic across all platforms. * Accountable for developing & implementing manual and automated security tests * Defining and implementing Secure Software Development Lifecycle practices throughout planning and delivery, to mitigate risks * Coordinate red teams and penetration testers to facilitate exercises and work with application engineering teams on remediation. * Proactively identify vulnerabilities across our product platforms and recommend fixes prior to production release. * Identify training programs for developers and engineers on secure coding practices. * Build reports, dashboards and drive visibility on product security. Qualifications and Skills: * BA/BS degree in Technology, Computer Science/Engineering, Cybersecurity, a related field or experience. * Minimum 5+ years of demonstrated experience with implementing product security in Cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud (GCP) * Working knowledge of Burp, Fortify, Checkmarx or similar static code analyzers * Extensive knowledge of the mobile and digital space * Expertise on emerging digital security/authentication trends * Experience with programming languages such as Java, Ruby, C# and scripting languages such as Python. * Dev tools experience (Github, Terraform, Jenkins, etc.) * Advanced expertise in Cybersecurity organization practices, operations, risk management processes, principles, architectural requirements, engineering and threats and vulnerabilities, including incident response methodologies, tactics and strategy to protect, detect, respond and recover from attacks. * Recognized expertise in Agile and implementation of security in dev-ops, CI/CD frameworks. * Excellent communication and presentation skills.
