We're looking for a highly motivated Director of IR & Corporate Development to join our growing Finance team.

Responsibilities:

  • Build the Company's internal investor relations function including strategy development and creating and executing the IR operating plan and budget

  • Act as primary spokesperson for all communication with the investment community regarding the Company's business model, operating results, business strategies and special developments

  • Advise on and support all aspects of investor marketing

  • Manage all aspects of quarterly earningsincluding preparation of quarterly financial press releases, conference call scripts, Q&A documents, investor presentations and other associated materials; assist in drafting annual and quarterly SEC filings

  • Assist investors and analysts in modeling the company's historical financial statements

  • Compare internal forecasts with analyst modelstracking analyst estimate changes and ensuring accuracy

  • Review and summarize analyst reports, competitive financial analysis and aggregate information from various financial data sources

  • Manage the IR effort to identify, promote and encourage prospective institutional investors

  • Manage the Company's participation in investor and analyst events such as conferences, meetings, non-deal roadshows

  • Manage the planning of the Company's Analyst Day and Annual Shareholder Meeting

  • Compile disclosures and data for use by senior management in meetings and discussions with investors, analysts and shareholders

  • Provide senior management with feedback and recommendations related to discussions with the investment community, as well as commentary regarding events within the market and industry

  • Collaborate across departments to ensure a consistent corporate image is presented to analysts, institutional investors, individual shareholders, media and all external parties

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization and with the investing community

  • Work closely with senior staff on internal and external financial planning, forecasting and reporting

  • Support M&A activities across the finance function and be involved with capital raising efforts and evaluating acquisition opportunities

Required Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in investor relations, finance, FP&A, as a sell side analyst or other Wall Street position. (management consulting, banking, investment management)

  • Technology experience is required; Software experience is preferred

  • Demonstrated understanding of Reg FD and other SEC disclosure rules and regulations

  • Understanding of GAAP accounting practices

  • Ability to develop financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow), quarterly forecasts and annual budgets

  • Understanding of valuation and modeling techniques used by investors and analysts

  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis

  • Advanced communications skills (written and oral) and relationship skills

  • Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet, word processing and presentation software; familiarity with IR focused software/tools preferred

  • Ability to represent the company at investor meetings/conferences as required

  • Keen intellect, unquestioned ethics, a sense of urgency and the ability to simultaneously execute on both tactical and strategic projects with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Communication or relevant fields that demonstrate quantitative competence; Master's degree preferred

  • Some travel required

The NVIDIA Retail team is helping retailers demonstrate the top AI use cases that will build the AI-enables Smart Retail. Our Retail team, motivated by NVIDIA's leadership in AI and Accelerated computing, is growing rapidly and looking for a Global Retail Business Development executive. What you'll be doing: Reporting to the GM of Retail industries, responsibilities include driving the worldwide revenue growth strategies for NVIDIA's Retail Industry solutions, in support of the overall go-to-market (GTM) strategy. This will include alignment and training of our OEMs and cloud partners on our Retail GTM strategy, to scale revenue through partners. It also includes defining and implementing the sales coverage model and assigning and achieving stretch sales revenue targets in collaboration with key regional sales leads. As a senior business development/sales leader, we would like to see demonstrated experience in building new product and/or industry revenues from scratch and achieving significant volume and scale. In this role, work in virtual teams – partnering with account managers, channel partners, data scientists solution architects, and sales operations as well as industry business development, product management, product marketing and development teams to: * Build a robust opportunity pipeline and establish long-term business relationships and strategic relevance with selected high-revenue/growth retail customers * Enable the matrixed team to deliver on the total worldwide Retail revenue, including collaboration with regional VPs of sales for appropriate staffing to achieve global revenue objectives. * Partner with geography sales teams to drive demand and build and grow opportunities and accounts. You will need to codify the customer value proposition and mobilize teams by developing and executing the sales and partner training. * Build and develop sales operations process management, including opportunity management and forecasting * Build effective relationships with retail industry-specific partner channels including Microsoft, OEMs such as Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Fujitsu, and Panasonic. What we need to see: * Bachelor's degree minimum from a leading University. Master's degree and/or MBA is desirable * 15+ years of business development and sales experience in retail technology systems, embedded and/or software products. Experience leading an overlay sales organization is highly desirable. * 15 years of management experience * Possess a global client contact base, deep domain expertise, and understanding of sales and buying practices with a track record of successfully growing revenue * Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed organization * Business knowledge of the global retail industry market dynamics * Knowledge of pricing strategies, channel economics, and negotiation tactics * Experience with leading alliances and driving complex deal negotiations * Regular review of sales opportunities and account business plans and manage the monthly revenue forecast * Collaborate & motivate a virtual team of sales managers (and help recruit the best talent) * Work with the General Manager of Retail and product management teams to ensure customer technical bottlenecks are addressed by the Retail Platform.
