Job Purpose:Promotes alumni endorsements and financial support of the university by directing activities of the alumni association; maintaining communications; organizing and directing functions.Duties: Develops the university alumni organization by maintaining communication with alumni and former students.

Keeps alumni organization informed by producing alumni publications. Promotes comradery among alumni by directing alumni functions; organizing regional and national meetings; securing publicity for functions and meeting. Maintains alumni support by promoting alumni endorsement of institutional activities; enlisting alumni aid in recruiting students and fund raising.

Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; implementing changes. Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing alumni data and trends. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
