SportsEngine is looking for a highly motivated, experienced Director of Inside Sales to drive our sales efforts. We are searching for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit who has proven leadership and experience in driving rapid growth in companies of $25 to $100+ million in annual recurring revenues in SaaS or e-commerce space. This position will report to SportsEngine's Vice President of Sales.

The role of the Director of Inside Sales will include:
Recruit, hire, develop and manage a world class customer acquisition team
Nurture, lead and inspire continuous improvement
Develop and implement the inside sales strategy overseeing go to market activities and key performance indicators
Responsible for forecasting, planning and driving daily behaviors through a data-driven approach
Provide subject matter expertise in negotiating and closing of new opportunities improving margin and discount targets
Build and manage compensation plans that align to corporate goals
Collaborate with sales enablement team to facilitate, develop and manage sales enablement and training programs for regional Sales teams
Conduct regular team assessments, measuring performance against pre-established goal metrics
Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Sales Operations, Customer Success and Enterprise Business Development to drive enhancements to our go-to-market strategy
The Director of Inside Sales is perfect for you if you have:
3-5+ years of sales management experience inside a high growth tech company, with annual recurring sales of $25 to $100+ million in annual sales (required)
Understanding of sales engagements tools such as Outreach, SalesLoft, InsideSales.com (Required)
Expertise in improving customer acquisition cost, productivity per team member and customer adoption rates
Ability to recruit, develop, and inspire sales managers
High capacity for strategic thought and the ability to formulate insights and opinions around complex business problems
Domain expertise in selling SaaS in e-commerce or other transactional markets
Proven experience creating a winning sales strategy and culture with in a rapidly evolving market
Enthusiastic, hands on, charismatic leader with exceptional communication skills
