Overall management of Information Technology department through planning, developing, coordinating, evaluating, budgeting and marketing of information technology services.?? Manages and coordinate outside contractors and vendors. Responsible for client-based applications, including Microsoft and other network providers. Includes troubleshooting from client end to server for cable, hubs, switches, repeaters and the actual server. Plans and directs day to day activities to meet the organizational IT needs. Use available information systems, such as HMS, or other department appropriate software. Must possess the ability to understand trends and apply them to the business environment; WAN and LAN maintenance and troubleshooting experience required; data communication experience a plus. Prior management experience in Information Technology in a healthcare environment preferred. Description: Leadership – * Establish a risk-based annual IS Audit scope of audit activities to meet the comprehensive Audit & Controls plan. * Plan and direct IS audits for all major systems, applications and technology initiatives. * Collaborate with financial/operational audit teams on integrated business process and application audits. * Mentor and provide leadership to team of five IS auditors and various indirect reports (based on project). * Maintain competency of the IS Audit staff through the establishment of a training program that involves both in-house and outside training. * Assist the VP, Audit & Controls in recommending and implementing enhancements in departmental processes and procedures. Compliance – * Manage Aramark's ongoing Sarbanes-Oxley program for IT controls including oversight of co-sourcing resources and management of IT external audit resources to limit risk related to financial reporting inaccuracies, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and efficiently utilize internal and external resource time/budget. * Initiate and manage Aramark's Quality Assurance function in compliance with standards from the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). Qualifications: Experience – Must have at least 15 years of progressive IS Audit experience with a strong background in information systems gained from work in a public accounting firm and/or a large company's internal audit function. The ideal candidate will have experience managing Sarbanes-Oxley IT compliance at a global company, system development reviews, and a diverse portfolio of other IT audits. Candidates should have strong experience working effectively with external auditors. Education - This position requires a B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline. Advanced degree is a plus. Impact – Prior experience working in high visibility positions is required. Complexity – Candidates will have prior experience working in a fast paced and flexible environment with many conflicting priorities. Experience prioritizing projects and staff time based on other commitments and risk is required. Communication – The ideal candidate will have experience communicating with executive management, as well as technical and financial business colleagues. Communication experience should ideally include experience managing and/or working with personnel in locations outside the U.S. Knowledge – Candidate requires a working knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley, system development methodologies, project management, IS audit, operating systems and logical security. A working knowledge of technology infrastructures as well as experience performing general controls reviews and application reviews is required. Leadership – Proven experience in leading diverse teams made up of direct reports, indirect reports, and consultants is required. Experience leading geographically diverse teams is a plus. Judgement – The ideal candidate will have the ability to make well thought out, risk based, decisions related to potential issues identified during audit work. The ability to understand the financial and operational effect of issues identified, and communicate this to all levels of personnel, is critical. Additional Qualifications – Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) required, additional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CIA, CPA) are a plus.
