The Location
Conveniently located just one minute east of Highway 41-45 on W. Good Hope Road in Menomonee Falls, Tailored Label Products' ultramodern facility is a testament to our most valuable resource, our employees! Purpose of the Position
Reporting to the president, this is the top Human Resources position within the company. The Director of Human Resources is a strategic partner to drive the TLP culture train. Because of the critical interactions with TLP leadership and all employees, this is an onsite position with the potential for hybrid work.
Besides continuously improving HR systems and processes, this role is responsible for piloting TLP's succession planning and talent development systems. Why? As a close partner with the VP of Operations, the successful applicant must be as comfortable interacting on the shop floor as they are in business planning meetings. Besides empathy and effective listening skills, candidates must demonstrate fairness and consistency in the decision-making process.

What You'll Be Doing
Provide intermediate and long-range plans that integrate our strategic people plan with our strategic sales and operation plans.
Improve and upgrade our talent development processes, including the development of formal career paths and an internal college.
Partner with leadership to maintain the strong employee relations climate within TLP.
Operate and improve all human resources systems and processes including HRIS, talent acquisition and retention, wage and salary, performance management, benefit plan design, policy design and administration, PTO, and the like.
Assure compliance with all employment law requirements.
Promote communication, cooperation, and a fun work environment throughout the company.
Grow our culture of ownership, engagement, and accountability.
Help make TLP a fun place to work and improve the brand amongst employees and prospective employees.
Bring Your Best
Bachelor's degree in business or communication-related discipline from an accredited institution.
Professional certification in human resources.
Ten-plus years of professional experience in human resources, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in leadership capacity.
Demonstrated strategic HR capabilities, and a passion for employee relations and talent development.
A history of accomplishing results through people.
Confidence and humility to interact effectively with all levels of employees throughout TLP.
Ability to translate ideas into actions.
Strong computing skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Demonstrated integrity and professional discretion. Ability to foster a healthy and positive workplace culture.
Proven capacity to manage sensitive and confidential information and situations appropriately.
