The Director of HR Operations is responsible, with collaboration and support of HR leadership, for providing a vision for the use of technology and information which supports the mission of Wellpath's HR function. This includes implementing data governance practices, tools, technology and the team required to provide actionable information and insights about our people to drive a rewarding employee experience, and business success. He or she will partner closely with business and HR leaders, the IT and HRIS teams, and other functions to build the systems infrastructure required to collect and analyze HR data, offer actionable analysis and reporting to managers and executives.



  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably with a focus in Information Technology or other quantitative field.

  • Master's degree preferred.


  • Minimum of 7-10 years experience working in HRIS, IT, or other related business function.

  • Minimum of 5 years in a management/supervisory role.

  • Healthcare industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities Defining and documenting an efficient and reliable architecture for Wellpath's HR Information systems, including but not limited to HR, Payroll, Recruiting, OD, Timekeeping, and Benefits systems.

Partnering with core business operators, development of analytics and reporting of key managerial insights that support data based decisions on human capital strategies which will support the operational and financial goals of Wellpath.

Support strict data governance by establishing a set of controls, audits, and validation testing to ensure a high level of data integrity across the HR ecosystem. Design and develop standardized reporting and analytical tools to efficiently report on HR data to an audience ranging from C-level executives to clinical staff. Design, deliver, and support necessary integration between HR systems and help oversee future implementations from potential acquisitions, software upgrade cycles, or other changes to HR systems.

Provide necessary maintenance and support of all HR information systems, including file and record maintenance, reconfigurations, and bulk data loads. Lead efforts to streamline technology in HR, where feasible. Lead efforts in identifying new opportunities to leverage technology and data within HR or the Company. Establishing and cultivating a productive relationship with Information Technology partners in support of the HCM, reporting, analytics, and the broader adoption of technology/software solutions.

VIEW JOBS 4/19/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-07-18T00:00 Job Summary: The Regional Director of Clinical Operations (RDCO) mentors and educates the Clinical Program Directors (CPDs) and the Clinical Coordinators/Clinical Nurse Managers (CCs/CNMs), Nurse Managers assigned to his/her regional area, on how to develop, educate, and lead the clinical staff to ensure the delivery of quality patient care, and ensure compliance with regulatory policies and procedures and clinical policies and procedures. All Healogics employees should perform their job responsibilities according to all Healogics and employee policies, and Hospital policies, as well as to accrediting organizations, federal and state regulation, and to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) guidelines, as applicable. Essential Functions/Responsibilities: Conducts centers’ evaluations: Evaluates the centers’ overall clinical performances via visits, reports/data analysis and interactions with staff, to assess effective, evidence-based delivery of care and ensure compliance with the center following clinical policies and procedures and complying with the hospital policies and regulatory standards Identifies areas in need of improvement. Evaluates clinical staff education, staffing needs and develops appropriate plans of action. Works and collaborates CCs/CNMs to develop and assist with meeting goals and responsibilities: Consistently mentors, educates and develops CPDs and CCs/CNMs in their leadership roles and through best practices. Assists them in developing and implementing action plans for improvements in clinical operations. Provides input to PDs and CCs/CNMs regarding their clinical staff regarding interviewing, hiring, and mentoring with a performance improvement plan. Promotes the Healogics’ value proposition by coaching CC/CNMs, building relationships with the hospital Executive Sponsor, C-Suite level hospital administrators, including the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and other influential hospital decision makers. This includes preparations and attendance of the Annual Business Review, if the SDCO is not available. Recommends, plans and implements needed changes as appropriate in administrative and clinical policies, procedures, systems, and measurements. Partners with Area Vice President (AVP) to regularly review clinical outcomes, educate and train center staff, create action plans for Performance Improvement, and prepare for Survey Readiness Preparations. Also supports initiatives and projects as directed by SDCO, Senior Vice President (SVP), and Healogics senior leadership. Performs other duties as required. Required Education, Experience and Credentials: Demonstrated competency in BLS (Basic Life Support) Current RN license – to be maintained throughout the duration of employment in this position Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and five (5) or more years’ experience in clinical operations, with increasing levels of responsibility Supervisory/management experience preferred Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration or Business Administration preferred Prior experience in coding, wound care and hyperbaric medicine preferred Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated competency in BLS (Basic Support Life), Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state regulation and of accrediting requirements for healthcare organizations Outstanding interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, to include presentation skills on a one on one basis and in a group setting Demonstrated relationship building and influential skills Leadership skills Demonstrated mentoring, team-building, motivational and training skills Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent customer service and follow-up skills Strong organization, prioritization and time-management skills Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point) and Internet navigation Working knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems Ability to maintain a clean driving record Ability to travel 75% of the time to assigned regional locations/centers Other Duties: The job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by people assigned this classification and is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
