The Director of Hotel Operations directs the day to day the activities of the Hotel.
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:Serves as a leader for team members.
Motivates team members by fostering teamwork, high team member morale and open communication.Creates an environment where flawless delivery and execution of service is paramount and rewarded.Acts as a role model and develops team members, while clearly articulating expectations.Strives to improve and streamline departmental operations through the continuous assessment of policies and procedures, work processes and program effectiveness/value.Helps to develop and implement the propertys capital improvement plan.
Structures objectives toward the attainment of established financial goals.Coordinates Hotel Operations with other departments to insure the highest degree of customer satisfaction and efficient operation.Interacts closely with other members of senior management.Maintains relationships with gaming and hotel customers to insure maximum guest satisfaction.Develops effective leaders for all areas of responsibility.Lead an organization with methods and actions that are ethical and in full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Company policies.Identify compliance risks and take actions necessary to eliminate or minimize risks.Champion, within the organization, a commitment to honesty, integrity, and responsible corporate behavior.Create a compliance culture within the organization and foster an environment where employees feel comfortable reporting potential violations or misconduct.
