Job Description:

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is looking for a charismatic social media executive to lead our in-house global social media team. The ideal candidate should not only have a proven track record of success in leadership, but also in developing B2B brands via social media. This role would be responsible for establishing an effective set of content strategies that support key corporate narratives, engage our target audience, increase traffic to HPE.com, and boost conversions on all social platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the head of Global Media to develop the "one social" strategy across key corporate narratives and executed via paid and organic motions.

  • Lead a global in-house social media team in developing an end-to-end editorial program and ensure it delivers assigned goals and KPIs.

  • Manage the development of social policy, governance and training for organizations and team members.

  • Collaborate with in-house social team to develop editorial content and optimize performance.

  • Manage relationships between our social media partners, inclusive of budget.

  • Close coordination across additional media, communications, and marketing operations support teams: Corporate Communication, GEOs, SEO, Publisher Media, Programmatic Media, RevOps, Analytics, and Finance.

  • Staying up to date on emerging social trends and our industry peers.

Education and Experience Required:

  • BA in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.

  • Relevant work experience with 10+ years in B2B social media, 5-7 within management

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proven track record of being a strong leader with an ability to manage a global organization and deliver assigned goals and KPIs.

  • Demonstrated ability to structure, organize, and execute social strategies across paid and organic motions, with an in-house team.

  • Platform knowledge and best practices for platforms/tools including, Meta, X, LinkedIn, Stack Overflow, and Sprinklr.

  • Prior experience as a social copywriter and/or content manager in B2B.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to interface effectively with multiple levels of the organization and functional disciplines.

  • Project and budget management skills.

The expected salary/wage range for a U.S.-based hire filling this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. USD Annual Salary: $133,000.00 - $322,000.00
