DuPont is seeking a Director of Global Business Communications for its newly formed $3.6B Electronics & Imaging business in the new DuPont. The ideal candidate brings an entrepreneurial mindset with a fresh perspective for communicating business and organizational priorities. You'll need a global outlook with a proven track record in building a differentiated presence for a new business and be equally passionate about taking a global workforce on an exciting journey in the dynamic, growing world of electronics and connectivity. As a member of the business leadership team, your responsibilities include oversight for all internal and external communications, executive communications, and a team of communications professionals around the world.


Your key responsibilities:

  • Leads development of all business-related external and internal communications strategies and programs for integrated marketing and employee communications strongly linked to business strategy

  • Leads and develops a multi-national team of geographically dispersed global business communications professionals comprising various levels of expertise and experience

  • Leads development and execution of executive communication program for business president for employee engagement and external thought leadership, including media activity

  • Serves as trusted advisor to senior business leadership by providing ongoing internal communications counsel and support

  • Develops proactive and reactive communications strategies to address issues that may affect the business's reputation, including establishing communications protocol for crisis management

  • Strong partner to business CMO on business-wide marketing communications and strategic messaging, including development of investor relations business-focused communications

  • Ownership for clear and effective global business brand strategy appropriately tied to corporate master brand and corporate branding initiatives

  • Collaborates with corporate communications and DuPont's global business communication leads to leverage and maximize functional excellence/professional development

Your qualification profile:

  • 15 years in B2B Communications roles, with minimum 5 years people leadership skills within a global team.

  • Experience in technology sector and business in Asia is a plus.

  • Demonstrated expertise in roles with increasing levels of responsibility- breadth and depth

  • Leadership of people - both direct reports and indirect associates

  • Strong verbal, written and visual communications skills to craft and present powerful and engaging messages

  • Comprehensive understanding and command of how both traditional and non-traditional communications can elevate a business among key stakeholders (employees, customers, media, investors)

  • Creative, expansive thought process

  • Strategic thinking: ability to articulate a vision

  • Ability to influence and be influenced

  • Experience working across a diverse and multi-cultural organization

  • Quickly adapts to opportunity, challenges or changing priorities; can easily shift from strategic counselor to hands-on implementation

  • Strong understanding of business

Education: Bachelor's in Communications or related field

The Global Facilities Leader ensures cost effective maintenance to achieve an optimal state of uptime, environmental, safety, security and compliance in a highly-regulated environment. Essential Responsibilities: GE employees may be considered for this role. Candidates should note that this role will be in scope for the proposed transition of GE Biopharma to Danaher and will transfer to Danaher at close of this transaction. #CR The Global Facilities Leader works collaboratively with distributed network of global locations to ensure operations are streamlined within each facility and to a set standard with common processes for core operations inside the facilities. While leading a team, this role supports both manufacturing and non-manufacturing locations globally. He/She will build organizational capability and engages with all levels of the company to deliver premier workplace and lab solutions. The Global Facilities Leader will play a critical role in the planning and design for all new building construction, remodels to existing buildings, lab tool installs, capacity planning, space planning, engineering, building code compliance, and building permitting. This leader will work with key business functions on driving the strategy around the workplace of the future and our footprint as well as managing funding and budgets for such efforts. Key responsibilities include: * Has direct oversight on global real estate, security and facilities, working with staff to ensure business needs are met in terms of infrastructure and security. * Enables business to meet and exceed operational goals by delivering safe, stimulating and socially responsible building environment. * Creates and maintains a team culture that improves the office and manufacturing environment from a standpoint of safety, efficiency, hygiene, sustainability. * Works with team to optimize global sites cost savings opportunities via real estate agreements, facility improvements or other indirect spend opportunities. * Manages successful preventive maintenance program of infrastructure assets. * Oversees office and manufacturing space allocation and layout. * Implements strategies to optimize cost and service levels related to utilities, plant maintenance, grounds management, janitorial, vendor management, expense management, and infrastructure project management * Develops and execute facilities and environmental sustainability strategies for global operations and significant commercial sites. * Serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME) regarding building, energy management, and environmental sustainability systems. * Oversees and maintains a strong relationship with the site's key business partners, and stakeholders to ensure goals are met and ensure a high level of internal and external customer satisfaction (e.g. Manages and/or communicates for successful outcomes with: Catering and Kitchen Services, Utilities, Landscape Services, Mail Services, Office Planning and Location, Print Services and Equipment, etc.) * Assists with the identification, prioritization, and justification of facility capital projects related to energy and waste management & facility systems upgrades. * Identifies and supports winning federal, state and city incentives to drive fiscally-positive facilities initiatives. * Advises, coaches and supports facilities team in identifying, scoping and implementing energy savings and sustainability improvements. * Actively supports EHS initiatives and ensures tie from EHS into real estate, security and facilities initiatives. * Coordinates facilities and energy management data collection and executes analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and facilitates environmental sustainability communication and reporting. * Develop a company-wide training and communication plan regarding facilities activities. * Supports integration of engineering, facility management, EHS, and strategic sourcing through special projects as assigned. * Manages facilities major project funnel and ensures facilities aspects are considered and integrated into new product development phase gating and process transfer project plans.
