How you can make a difference
Our Security Operations Team is seeking an experienced Fraud Prevention professional to lead and develop our ever-growing Fraud Prevention Analytics team here at HealthEquity. While leading this team, the Fraud Prevention Director will develop, and own the Fraud Prevention program's strategy, to actively prevent and mitigate fraud risk for HealthEquity. This professional is accountable for defining risk tolerances in this space, as well as identifying gaps and implementing controls for mitigation according to the level of fraud risk. This person will have an in depth understanding of emerging risks in the fraud space, and how to successfully mitigate them through the application of technology, processes, and people.
What you'll be doing
Develop a robust fraud prevention strategy at the corporate level and implement supporting tactical roadmap items with the backing from executive leadership
Manage, support and develop a small impactful team of Fraud Data Analysts
Implement solutions that maximize fraud prevention resources while minimizing impact to valid member behavior
Establish the ability to measure, monitor and understand fraud losses across the company and employ tools, solutions and metrics that appropriately quantify and assess losses and exposure
Lead change through continual collaboration and influence across HealthEquity and the HSA industry
What you will need to be successful
Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited university in the Business Administration or Technological fields
7+ years of fraud management experience, developing complex fraud prevention strategies among increasing roles or accountability
5+ years of people management and development experience in the fraud space
Possesses the ability to articulate a compelling story and vision from raw data, for an executive level audience Drives change in the member experience for an organization while reducing risk exposure to the company
Has an advanced understanding of fraud detection approaches and methodologies using analytical tools and techniques
Strong people management, internal consulting, and partnering skills
Proficiency with business and communications software (preferably Word, Excel, PowerPoint, common Windows operating systems, and Outlook) is required. A strong, hands-on knowledge of working with data (primarily SQL) is also required
