Director of FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis)

We are seeking an experienced FP&A Director with the skills and passion to support our company's growth by providing quality financial analysis and insight.
Reporting to the SVP of Finance, you will coordinate the company's budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting. Supported by a small team of analysts, you will partner with departmental executives to deeply understand their business areas, inform our financial plans, and provide reporting and analysis to all levels of management. You will also recommend and implement process improvements and KPIs.
This is a key role that will impact all areas of our business, including process improvement, cost savings, driving revenue, and supporting decision-making.

Your Role:
Responsible for end-to-end budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis of P&L and Balance sheet
Complex modeling and forecasting, including revenue and expense recognition, capitalization, and depreciation
Bespoke analysis such as product costing, margin analysis, and staffing analysis
Partner closely with departmental executives, sales leaders, wider Finance team, and the C-Level
Learn and utilize critical systems within and outside of Finance to compile data.
Question, problem-solve, and seek and implement solutions
Regular reporting and presentation to senior leadership and external stakeholders
Reporting to SVP Finance, and supported by 2 or more direct reports
Your Background:
Bachelor's degree in a Finance related subject preferred
2+ years experience in senior Finance management, preferably in a large publicly-traded company
Strong analytical skills, and advanced knowledge of Excel and/or Google Sheets
Experience of Netsuite accounting software and/or Salesforce is a plus
Working knowledge of GAAP and/or IFRS accounting standards
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to translate complex financial concepts to a non-financial audience
Ability to partner cross-functionally, through strong relationship-building and communication skills, with all levels of management
Curiosity and proven ability to critically examine existing processes and implement improvements
