Westhaven Golf Club, a Troon Priv club, is searching for a food and beverage leader with a tremendous service heart, who has an interest managing multiple food and beverage outlets, working with a world class team, and impacting the experience on over 800 members. Westhaven's service mission of "Creating relationships and lasting memories through genuine service, at an escape that feels like home" challenges the team to always anticipate needs and provide the members with an inviting environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Ownership of the service mission statement
Primary coordinator of food and beverage service hiring, coaching, training, orientations and creating a culture of teamwork
Have a strong, highly visible presence with the membership during peak periods, including dinner service
Oversee all dining areas to ensure smooth and consistent experience commonality in all operations, high levels of member and guest satisfaction, and exemplary service in conjunction with managers and clubhouse chefs.
Direct oversight of the beverage program, to include purchasing and inventory of all beer, wine, and liquor.
Assist in the planning and execution of all club social functions, including, club, member, and member sponsored events.
In coordination with the Director of Membership, promote and contract banquet and catering services
In coordination with the Executive Chef and General Manager, develop and monitor all financial plans
Planning and execution of opening plan for all new food and beverage venues
Ensure adherence to, and compliance with, all health, safety, liquor consumption, and all other food and beverage regulations.
Assist with clubhouse and facility maintenance needs, including management of all preventive maintenance of front of the house and beverage equipment
Work closely with the Executive Chef to facilitate a strong relationship between kitchen and restaurant departments.
Establish and uphold expectations for dress, decorum and other service standards
Bachelor's degree (BA) from four-year college or university; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Tennessee ABC Server Card (must be attained in first 60 days on property)
Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:
Knowledgeable in hospitality POS system application, hardware, software and menu programing.
Experience in Multi-faceted Food and Beverage operations.
Strong understanding of beverage program management, with emphasis on Bourbon and wine preferred
Ability and willingness to step into other departments to help during "all hands on deck" periods
High comfort level with technology
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
