TeleWorld Solutions is seeking a strategic Director of Finance for our team to oversee all financial aspects of our company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial-related activities, ensuring the alignment of financial strategies with business goals, and providing financial leadership and direction.

Responsibilities

  • International financial reporting, specifically Korea.

  • Budgeting and forecasting (Revenue/COGS/OH (SG&A)) - Annual/monthly

  • Experience in setting up and monitoring KPI/MBO for the company

  • Strategic thinker focused on company growth

  • Experience with FP&A, including in-depth gross margin analysis and setting up/executing GM for individual projects

  • Experience with project accounting

  • Proficiency in the three financial statements (Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Income Statement)

  • Month-end closing

  • Deep understanding of US GAAP in all aspects of accounting standard

  • Analyze trends to reduce financial risks

  • Provide advice to the CEO on spending and budget matters

  • Knowledge and experiences with tax, insurance, and contract review

  • Develop and execute the financial strategy of the company to ensure alignment with business objectives.

  • Lead and manage the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and effective collaboration.

  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.

  • Manage the processes for financial forecasting, budgets, and consolidation, and report variances.

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain appropriate internal controls.

  • Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive management team on financial matters, including financial performance, investments, and business opportunities.

  • Develop and implement effective financial policies, procedures, and systems to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Oversee treasury, cash management, investment activities, and risk management.

  • Lead the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP or IFRS.

  • Coordinate the preparation of the annual report and ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and other statutory requirements.

  • Evaluate and manage the company's capital structure, funding, and financing arrangements.

  • Liaise with external auditors, financial institutions, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA/CFA certification is preferred.

  • Bilingual English/Korean required.

  • Experience working with international companies specifically Korean, with knowledge of culture and business practices required.

  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior financial leadership role.

  • Strong knowledge of corporate financial principles, including financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

  • Proven experience in strategic planning, risk management, and investment strategies.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing finance team.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Experience with financial software and systems (e.g., ERP systems) and proficiency in MS Office Suite.

  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
