Job Summary:

  • Manage activities of departments including clinical equipment contracted service.

  • Oversees the operation of the engineering department at Ashland City campus.

  • Participate/ develop and enforce department/ hospital policies and procedures, including hazard surveillance and incident reporting.

  • Coordinates on-going data collection about deficiencies and opportunities for improvement in the environment of care.

  • Coordinates on-going collection and dissemination of information from sources such as published hazard alerts and recall reports.

  • Coordinates summaries of deficiencies, problems, failures, and user errors related to the managing the environment of care.

  • Coordinates the preparation of summaries on findings, recommendations, actions taken, and results of PI activities.

  • Assess compliance with the Life Safety Code and manages the Statement Conditions (SOC) when addressing survey-related deficiencies.

Qualifications:

Associates Degree or other, technical training
5 10 years experience in facility management

Knowledge of JCAHO EC & LS standards

Experience with at least two JCAHO surveys

Specialized knowledge in areas like building, fire, or utility systems

Provides input to Group LOB Manager and Private Wealth Management executives on local business issues and opportunities. Responsible for ensuring that all business transactions and practices for assigned territory comply with all regulatory requirements and our Company Code of Conduct. Responsible for the PWM line of business within an assigned territory with annual net income typically up to $100 MM or a lower revenue territory with more complexity. Responsible for the management of a larger number of advisors (10+) as well as territories including dual markets with extensive travel. Series 7, 66, 24 and insurance licenses must be obtained. * On February 7, 2019, it was announced that SunTrust Banks, Inc. and BB&T Corporation intend to merge, with the combined entity to be named Truist Financial Corporation ("Truist"). The merger is subject to regulatory approval, and BB&T and SunTrust remain separate and independent companies until the merger closes.
