Job Summary
Under the Direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services, the Director of Expanded Learning, Multilingual Learners and Quality Programs is responsible for leading the organizational effort to develop innovative programs and expand learning opportunities for all students. This includes before and after school expanded learning programs, intercessions, and summer school and program options.
In addition, the Director is responsible for the development, supervision and full implementation of Multilingual/ELD Programs, the District's EL Master Plan including implementation of curriculum as determined by state and federal guidelines and mandates with requisite accountability measures. This position also serves as a district liaison and maintains necessary communication with the County Department of Education, State Department of Education, and appropriate Federal agencies.
