Job Overview:

The Director, Enterprise Activation, is the process and project lead for new initiatives for the Sales Operations Function at Hostess. The Director, Enterprise Activation is the key lead on the launch of new products, line extensions, and limited time offerings, with collaboration and support from the Marketing Innovation and Brand Director teams.

This position will be the key conduit among the Supply Chain/Operations, Research and Development/Quality/Food Safety, Sales, and the Marketing/Innovation Functions to ensure the successful execution of critical projects. Moreover, the Director, Enterprise Activation must also track projects and possess the ability to analyze the performance of projects to maximize ROI. In addition, he/she will need to be an excellent problem-solver and make recommendations for adjustments to keep projects on time, along with remaining within budget.

The Director, Enterprise Activation must understand the impact of individual and multiple projects, while being able to influence executives and key leaders to effectively manage the internal resources within Hostess. This leader, through project management, communication, and influence, must lead the executional aspects of new products and sku development.

Key Functions and Accountabilities:

  • Support the Process and Structure for innovation

  • Lead and manage new product development launch process, along with incorporating a continuous improvement mindset and activities into the process to optimize our overall execution of innovation

  • Ability to identify and prioritize key business issues, appropriately report out on status, identifying and prioritizing risks and issues and opportunities to mitigate

  • Manage key projects from inception to completion, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery

  • Develop and communicate recommendations

  • Possess the courage and ability to hold others accountable for delivering milestones and expectations

  • Lead projects and manage multiple and competing tasks

  • Display a nimble agility to manage seemingly conflicting projects and tasks, while bringing initiatives to a successful closure


Experience Required:

  • 7+ years of CPG and/or retail experience

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams

  • Previous experience managing projects as a project lead, consultant, and/or team lead

  • Prior exposure to supporting and working with executive senior management

Functional Knowledge and Business Expertise Required:

  • Solid background and demonstrated ability to bring together a diverse team to strategize, develop and market our products

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA, Master's or equivalent preferred

You will be PRA's leading expert in Ligand Binding assays in support of pharmacokinetic and immunogenicity studies. You will be responsible for providing global scientific leadership, leading customer interface on a scientific level, laboratory strategy and innovation, leading publications and presentations in your area of expertise and interfacing with business development and marketing. Leadership * Manage method development team (local and global) * Ensure appropriate scientific growth and development is available for team * Provide support to other teams in department with the scientific development of their staff Science/Innovation * Supervise development of complex methods * Promote PRA as scientific leader in industry * Manage parts of the strategic plan for PRA bioanalytical scientific organization * Work with team to develop scientific skills * Business Development/Global Strategy * Develop and nurture collaborations with key partners and other PRA Lines of Business, e.g. Product Registration * Coordination of operations activities with business development. Ensure lab's activities match BD requirements * Promote science team through conference involvement and other engagements such as client meetings * Publish and present at scientific conferences to demonstrate PRA's scientific expertise Client Interaction/Project Management * Provide input to proposals regarding length of time for MD Project execution and specific challenges that might beencountered * Act as project manager for method development projects * Client interaction for strategic items * Ensure methods that are developed are rugged, robust and efficient for implementation in routine bioanalysis * Oversight/management of all MD projects to ensure timely execution within budget and conducted to client's expectations * Signs off / authorizes documentation and laboratory work as defined in study plans and SOPs * May serve as PM or study director for validation and bioanalysis projects What do you need to have? * PhD degree in analytical chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacy or other laboratory related degree * 10+ years of scientific leadership in a Bioanalytical Laboratory. * Experience using computerized information systems. * Thorough knowledge of international and national bioanalytical regulations, preferably some clinical trials development experience. * Preferably knowledge of business administration principles. * Read, write and speak fluent English; fluent in host country language required.
