Job Description:

Wittenberg University is seeking a Director of Enrollment Operations. The Director is the functional CRM expert and responsible for the successful movement of data into and out of the Slate CRM. The Director provides high level analysis of key performance indicators and helps set and measure success of enrollment strategy. Holding a strong commitment to diversity, outstanding organizational skills and ability to execute the operational aspects of a communication flow plan are necessary components of this work. The Director works collaboratively with each department to provide operational support to ensure the University reaches institutional enrollment goals. This full-time, exempt-level position reports to the Vice President of Enrollment Management.

Essential functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversees and integrates admissions best practices and integrity into all business and recruitment functions of the admissions office.

  • Leads development and maintenance of key Slate functionality, including but not limited to: applications, queries, reports, process automation, portals, form development, database structure, data integrity, systems integrations, and data uploads.

  • Provides cross-departmental vision and leadership for use of technology tools in recruitment and admission practices.

  • Implements technology solutions that will support admissions counseling, improve the student experience, and meet the decisions-making needs of the institution.

  • Collaborates with all areas to implement and effectively leverage admission CRM strategies.

  • Assists in the development of communication campaigns; designs workflows for response tracking and reporting.

  • Develops reporting tools and strategies, provides analytics from marketing and admissions data to help determine student recruitment trends.

  • Develops robust training and development opportunities for admission operations staff members.

  • Attends the necessary training to remain fluent in the SIS and CRM system platforms and continually grow in knowledge and awareness of the institution's implementation of Slate CRM modules.

  • Collaborates with business partners, represents the University as needed, and evaluates how to continuously improve admissions operations strategies.

  • Creates and maintains a positive team environment, including but not limited to performance appraisals, professional development and training, connection with other enrollment operation staff and other department staff, and events which lead to the positive accomplishment of goals and team work.

  • Performs other relevant duties as assigned such as special projects, programs, development activities, etc.

Requirements:

Requirements include:

  • A bachelor's degree is required.

  • Three - five years of experience required.

  • Experience utilizing a CRM system is required; experience utilizing Technolutions Slate CRM and/or Ellucian Colleague are preferred.

  • Ability to work creatively and efficiently, both independently and as part of a team. Exceptional organization skills, including planning, documenting processes, improving efficiencies, and follow-through. Ability to manage shifting priorities.

  • Strong proficiency with technology including Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other software, databases, and equipment as assigned.

  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate data and make decisions or recommendations.

  • Be able to remain in a stationary position for the majority of the work day (up to 8 hours).

  • Frequently move equipment weighing up to 20 pounds for various event and activity needs.

  • Ability to travel and work nights and weekends as required. Travel may be domestic and/or international.

  • A valid driver's license is required; must meet required insurance qualifications found in Wittenberg Motor Pool policies and procedures. If license is from out of state, successful candidate will need to obtain a valid Ohio driver's license within 30 days of hire date.

A hybrid/remote work schedule may be considered for the ideal candidate.
