Key Responsibilities:

As a Process COE Leader, you will be part of the corporate Core Process Excellence and Automation COE team. You will identify and establish a team of representatives from Honeywell's four Strategic Business Units. This team will develop guidelines for improving the Inspection processes within manufacturing environment and will develop Vision Inspection process playbook that will be used as starting reference point by Manufacturing Engineers across 150+ Honeywell global factories. The Vision Inspection Process playbook will consist of information such as application variables, scenarios to consider, required data output standards to support Digital Factory, as well as Honeywell's preferred suppliers for those applications. Manufacturing Engineers will rely on your expertise to implement potential vision inspection solutions in their respective production lines to reach three organizational objectives: Output, Productivity, and Resiliency.

For high-impact deployments, you will work with site operations leaders and manufacturing engineers to drive the transformation in our factories with the right solution, including need for built-in-quality, right inspection at the right time, and if required suitable automated inspection solutions.

Geographic location: Preferred locations for this position are in Charlotte NC, Phoenix AZ, or Atlanta GA travel up to 30%


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Manufacturing, or related technical field

  • 10+ years of manufacturing engineering and/or project engineering experience

  • For Export compliance, candidate must be a US Citizen or Permanent resident

  • Subject Matter Expertise in Vision Inspection with Artificial Intelligence


  • Ideal candidates will have a track record of operational improvement through use of Lean principles, Value Steam Maps, and vision inspection implementation at a discrete manufacturing company

  • Computer vision deployment

  • Embedded vision hardware and software

  • Knowledge and experience with lean, operational excellence, continuous improvement, and quality improvement

  • Demonstrates a hands-on, energetic, accountable, and hardworking style

  • Customer-focused approach to operations management which supports growth and innovation, and which requires enhanced communication and cooperation

  • Will be a self-starter capable of making good decisions

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills in an international environment with the ability to lead and drive projects to completion

  • Metric-oriented with strong analytical skills and the ability to comprehend broad sets of data (including financial); technically astute; demonstrated history to act on analysis and drive impactful results

  • Developed network of supplier relationships in Automation industry

The responsibilities include leading a team of DevSecOps Engineers to provide automation services, development, and consulting to our Wholesale application development teams. The team will basically be championing the implementation of DevSecOps and automation to the Wholesale application development teams.</p><p>Lead a team or teams responsible for technology solutions that meet business needs and satisfy risk and operational requirements of the Tech organization. Identify and resolves complex technical, operational, risk management, and organizational challenges for an LOB or several Sub LOBs. <br><br> Leverage emerging technologies and automation to improve business efficiencies, enhance speed-to-market of solution delivery, and support business and enterprise transformation and optimization.
