Our Employee Relations team collaborates closely with leadership, HR Business Partners, Legal and employees to advise on complex matters, including performance improvement and investigations. Be an employee relations champion across our business

As Director of Employee Relations, you will oversee the North America Employee Relations function, providing strategic oversight on our employee performance enhancement efforts. Working closely with regional HR leaders to refine our global employee relations framework, governance structure and success measurements to ensure we are aligned globally, while engaging locally.

As Director of Employee Relations, you will be responsible for:

  • Building the overarching global framework for employee relations function that encompasses governance, success measurements, process and controls

  • Working closely with our Legal team to respond to risks, including interpretation and application of employee regulations

  • Providing guidance and support on escalations received from your Employee Relations team and HR Business Partners

  • Measuring your team's impact through key success metrics and identifying and addressing emerging issues through trend analysis

  • Developing management's knowledge and proficiency around basic employee performance skills that enable performance improvement and conflict resolution

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

  • 12 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources or another related field

  • Have extensive experience in employee relations, employment law/compliance, executive coaching and leadership development

  • Have experience managing a global employee relations function that includes governance, success measurements, process and protocols

  • Enjoy partnering with HR colleagues, Legal, Audit, Learning & Development to implement solutions and achieve business results

  • Demonstrate the skills to deliver guidance on sensitive cases through clear communication and collaboration with employees and management

  • Have a quantitative approach to evaluating progress and impact, as well as identifying opportunities for improvement

  • Have experience managing a self-sufficient team focused on unique and complicated challenges with significant visibility

This leader will create and implement an approach based on our science and positioning that develops a deep and relevant shareholder base aligned with the company’s trajectory through formal and informal communications, roadshows, analyst engagement, and other events. They will be a key strategic cross-functional business partner, interfacing with nearly all functions of the company to develop, align, and execute investor-facing communications. This person will also bring the voice of the investment community to strategic discussions with the executive team, develop a tight analytical interface between the financial analysis group and business/corporate development teams. </p> <p>The Sr. Director/VP of IR will report to the Chief Financial Officer. This is a highly visible position for an individual who demonstrates strategic and analytic thinking, confidence, humility, creativity, effective communication skills, and collaboration. The ability to listen to investors in dialog is key. There will be ample opportunity for career development within this role for the right candidate. </p><p><br></p> <p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Work cross-functionally to develop strategic investor messaging, including the ‘story’ and a roadmap to value creation.
