Are you our next Electrical Business Development leader?
Vallen's Director of Electrical Business Development is an individual contributor position demonstrating internal Vallen expertise in support of Sonepar's electrical products and solutions as well as capital projects with over-arching objectives to grow the business across the Sonepar Operating Companies. They connect the Sonepar operating companies to key customers driving a Sonepar value proposition and must have a solution selling mindset, the ability to influence the internal and external customer and develop creative and diverse paths to generate revenue.
This position can be remote and can be located anywhere near a major airport.
Leverage Sonepar relationships to collaboratively grow the business.
Interface with Sonepar Operating Company Leadership and provide support to identify and build business and solutions.
Provide monthly dashboard reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) linked to Sonepar Goals and objectives.
Act as an internal Electrical resource for field support and solutions that will solve customer problems, deliver documented cost savings and drive new revenue opportunities.
Participate in Sonepar training and be a technical subject matter expert.
Conduct in-plant assessments with target Sonepar customers.
Deliver year-over-year revenue growth for Sonepar customers targeting double digit growth.
Objectively identify barriers that are in conflict of growing revenue.
Leader of governance over solutions for Sonepar customers.
Develop relationships at Sonepar customers to facilitate solutions for both Electrical and Industrial supplies.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Benefits
Bachelor's degree coupled with 7+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of educational and experience
7-10 years of related Sales experience
Must have experience presenting to executive management
Must have Electrical Product knowledge
Must have Project Management experience
Must have experience selling electrical products to Industrial customers
Experience working with large national accounts
Must be willing to travel extensively 80% minimum
3-5 years of management experience preferred
