Make a difference every day.

  • Participate in the selection and hiring of teaching staff.

  • Coordinate with other members of the Leadership Team to implement the training plan for new teaching staff.

  • Conduct classroom observations to regularly support and ensure the implementation and delivery of the research-informed Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum.

  • Create a culture of engagement by empowering teachers to find solutions for themselves.

  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations. Must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib.

Desired skills and experience:

  • HS Diploma/GED

  • Prefer a bachelor's or master's degree in early childhood education or related field;

  • Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential a plus

  • Texas Licensed Child Care Center Director a significant plus

  • A minimum of five years teaching experience in a licensed early childhood program; preferably at a Primrose school

  • Knowledge of teaching principles, practices and classroom procedures

  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written

  • Evidence of leadership or management in past employment

  • Motivated, organized, high energy individual with a passion for education and children's growth and development

  • Must meet all requirements of local/state childcare regulatory agency, the Primrose School of Prosper and the Primrose National Support Center.
