JOB SUMMARY:
The Director of Douglas Finishing is responsible for ensuring that Douglas Finishing meets or exceeds its targeted financial goals. In addition, the Director must ensure that the operation continuously improves safety, product quality, internal and external customer service, and efficiency. The operation is required to meet 100% of all local, state and federal safety and environmental regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

2.Model and champion our leadership qualities (live Douglas values, chart the course, energize others and raise the bar).
3.Develop, align resources to, and execute annual imperatives/WIGs and strategic deliverables.
4.Develop and implement plans to meet targeted financial goals and operational objectives.
5.Responsible for maintaining and expanding current customer base.
6.Provide excellent service to internal and external customers.
7.Ensure that all employees follow all safety policies and procedures.
8.Provide and maintain a safe work environment for all employees.
9.Responsible for adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Excellent business acumen.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Business Administration or related field with a minimum of 5 years related work experience or equivalent education and work experience
Prefer strong technical background in metal finishing processes and lean manufacturing techniques
Strong business management and leadership skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficient in the use of personal computers and Microsoft Office software
Excellent customer service skills
