Department of Eagle Dining Services
Job Summary
Responsible for providing innovative, strategic, and comprehensive leadership for all dining services for the university. Leads and collaborates with the dining staff to develop sound business practices for efficient dining operations. Develops a culture of promoting and training excellent customer service throughout the dining organization. Serve as a liaison to other campus departments to give the university community a positive and healthy dining experience. Acts as a community and university liaison for dining services and provides representation at events to promote and tell the dining story.
Responsibilities
Organize, coordinate and oversee daily operations in Dining Services
Ensure complete financial responsibility and efficiency of Dining Services
Develop and clearly communicate Dining Services expectations and goals and provide vision for the organization
Provide innovative and unique dining opportunities to the ever-changing university community
Assist in providing accurate and reliable data to Associate Vice President
Provide a comprehensive understanding of the requirements of students from various ethnicities and multicultural environments and pledge to offer suitable dining options for those students Ensure the Dining Services operations team is well-versed and knowledgeable in University department policies and procedures
Develop and provide all customer service and food service training to staff
Develop a culture of professional development and employee engagement
Lead Dining Services with emergency preparedness and work with campus partners to ensure students have a safe dining environment
Work alongside Associate Vice President on capital projects and facility improvement plans in conjunction with the Department of Facility Services

Proposed Salary
$71,500 - $114,300
This is an exempt position paid on a monthly basis.
