JOB SUMMARY: The nation's #1 golf club fitter is looking for a digitally savvy, golf lover to lead their digital team. Reporting directly to the CMO, the Director of Digital will drive all aspects of Club Champion's digital ecosystem including websites, web analytics, e-commerce, merchandising assortment strategy, website design and digital customer experience. This person will also work to design and implement digital strategies that grow the Club Champion business, analyze traffic/user metrics and ensure the consistency of Club Champion's digital presence. A digital thought-leader with a self-starter attitude and the ability to collaborate with a team would thrive in this position
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Drive digital media optimization with partners to optimize profitable revenue growth.
Lead cross-functional projects with broader marketing, digital, technology and operational leaders. Direct team and partners on how to best execute projects through understanding of latest technologies.
Constantly optimize the Club Champion site and mobile UX design to drive conversion rates resulting in improved digital appointments
Working with a cross-functional team, develop customer journeys to identified segments to improve customer satisfaction and brand loyalty.
Develop and implement digital strategies to increase customer acquisition and retention including a deeper understanding of customer segmentation groups and look-alikes via market research/analytics partners
Lead the vision of a long-term e-commerce strategy and customer experience that communicates brand positioning and addresses rising industry trends
Develop an Ecommerce ecosystem that can scale. Oversee Club Champion's digital ecosystem including websites, mobile applications and e-commerce function
Responsible for the P&L of the Club Champion e-commerce business
Develop a process of analyzing and interpreting business performance to drive business decisions.
Work collaboratively with the broader marketing team to develop a promotional calendar that supports the broader company strategy and maximizes e-commerce revenue and appointment growth.
Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in technology as well as emerging consumer and marketing trends
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, digital media or similar
7-10 years of e-commerce, online merchandising or digital marketing experience
Proficiency in digital marketing and analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Google Data Studio
Excellent understanding of digital practices such as SEO, PPC and programmatic display
Good understanding of e-commerce and CMS platforms such as Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, WordPress and Shopify
Excellent financial and analytic skills with ability to interpret and translate data into actionable proposals
Strong interpersonal, leadership, collaboration, and project management skills
Comfortable in changing, fast paced environment with tight deadlines.
Experience working at a startup a plus
Experience building ecommerce platforms from scratch a plus
